  1. Good stuff but last comments about players needing a culture change has to be the very last step. Pls realize you just said you don't want anyone fired (WHOSE JOB IT IS TO WATCH FOR ONE THING) but that job should also be shared by the players. I don't think you mean to say that so wrong.

Fire people! NFL people, med staff, dolphins staff. Get it right. It's not the players job.

  2. In business and life, play long term games with long term people. McDaniel showing he cares about players health is a good way to attract and retain quality people across organization.

  3. This is beyond serious and this mans career could be in jeopardy. Tua needs to seriously think about his health after football, remember a guy name Andrew Luck who said forget football im gonna retire while i can still walk and talk.

  4. So you didn't read what happened the first concussion at all. The Doctor who originally evaluated tua when they said it was a back injury did not follow NFL protocols. That's why he was fired. They asked him why he didn't follow protocols he got mad and never answered so they fired him I don't know how every other reporter got this correct besides you

  5. Give me a break. Mike McDaniel is a big part of the problem. Get real. Open you eyes and ears. He is largely responsible for allowing this to continue. Nothing worse than making excuses for a head coach. Three games of Tue banging his head off the ground and the head coach is missing in action at the time he shouldn't be. Clowns.

  6. Concussion protocols are as weak as the Covid restrictions. During the regular season EVERYBODY wants these players sat down "for their safety." But once the playoffs come around (lotsa ratings = lotsa $$$$) how many players, especially the megastar QBs, did you see catch Covid?

Bills vs. Chiefs, Eagles vs. Cowboys, Bengals vs. Chargers will NEVER see their QBs sit the bench under concussion protocols.

  7. NFL needs a concussion IR, or amend IR, so teams aren't forced to run a player or two short when players aren't available for games. Let the teams manage their depth, that's the ultimate player safety 1st.

  8. Im a packers fan and i said 2nd half only reason defense looked good was the concussion and got torched by many packers fans. Look i am die hard packers fan but joe b. Is literally the worst d coordinator in nfl history he is who i thought he was bad. Minnesota game will show more than a concussed half of a game that they were torching the defense first half. Get healthy tua dont come back until its right bud life goes well beyond the nfl.

  9. Young man should retire while his young and as we know has his health he is set for life with that fully guaranteed 1st round rookie contract in the state of florida with no tax if I'm right so that's a couple extra big bucks$$ his saving. Enjoy your life Tua become an NFL analyst or coach no one is questioning his toughness but his health and safety are now on line and his a human being first.

  10. All the medical people are doing exactly what the NFL tells them to do. There is an obvious sliding scale to the concussion protocol. We all know it, we all see it. The more money the owner pays a player the more lax the concussion protocol. Why are we pretending otherwise? The concussion protocol is as effective and as sincere as the Rooney rule. Which we all know is a big fat nothing burger.
