No its not, I got it half price and still not worth it, I flew over my area for 2 minutes and and just a flat grey, brown, green nothingless with vehicles zooming about. Forget it, if I could refund I would
Is it true its $300 AUD for the top spec? That's ridiculous.
The heavy use of the cloud for these types of games is not the solution.
Need a super computer to run this
The bean counters got it wrong big time.
I think you take on it is realty good, im playing on xbox and am having a good time, there is so much to do or you can load up any area and just fly by hand, its only going to get better dont forget about the updates, im excited🙏😀✈️
This game is a clusterf*ck.
Bought the standard edition
High End settings spec PC 21.9
Gave it 2 days
Now back to ETS2,I honestly find it more enjoyable.
Well so far it's definitely not worth my time or money. After 3 days I still can't even load into the game world (actually I did manage to once, but my plane was invisible). What a garbage launch it has been so far.
My typical download speed is 800 mbs. I should be good. It's going to be up to their servers. I'm looking forward to all the cry babies giving up on this game so that the servers won't be hit. So I mean the number of crybabies is phenomenal.
I m not concerned. It ll all be sorted out with time. I have everything ready but I m not rushing to play it now.
I think the back lash was so bad because unlike 2020. People don't have infinite time to wait nor free money to toss around. 70-200 hundo is becoming a steep ask. And releasing sub par products at that price opens you up to more scrutiny.
this game is the worst game ever in AAA HISTORY this not worth the money dont waste your time on this shit game
It's great, loving career mode so far. The challenge league is amazing as well…
I haven't done world photographer or any activities yet so I can't speak on those, but it's a huge improvement over 2020 in file size and quality alone.
Definitely the most ambitious flight simulator ever and the cloud tech is just amazing. can't wait to see what they do with it since it's not even at 100% right now
I was really excited for this one and doing the search and rescue missions. The only way I can see you can do them is to go into career mode. Long path ahead I guess
Yes, the launch was disappointing, but predictable.
With any game, launch day is going to see an abnormally large number of people trying access it on the first day. This is especially true of a game pass title, because it is free to play for subscribers. Given the nature of the title, being streamed from the cloud, Microsoft had the option to either cater for this abnormally large load and scale its servers accordingly for launch or not.
Given that there would almost certainly be a large drop off of users almost immediately after launch, I think Microsoft took a commercial decision to ride it out, rather than going to the expense of catering for a abnormally large and transitory user numbers seen on launch day.
Yes, it sucks for FS enthusiasts, having the launch ruined by an influx of curious casual users, but give it time and I think MSFS2024 is going to be epic.
I didn’t pay for it so I have no complaints and can wait until next year when they fix bugs but it I paid for this I would be pissed
Save your money and get it in 6 months.. right now you are basically paying for fs20 with //42 effect packs
Good review. Glad to hear someone not continuously complaining.
This is the most Australian person I've ever heard
We need the option to choose to not be so reliant on the cloud, my internet is spotty and I share it with family members . I want to play this game but not gonna do so until I can install it (at the least allowing a manual install with additional detail on the cloud if my connection can handle it like 2020) I absolutely agree re the need to have a sense of purpose.
I am with you 🛩
I don't understand the apologists that this should of been expected. Pretty much the most important thing to get right was server load. You can't tell gamers to 'expect' that they will not be able to access the game they paid for for several days. Many of us still not able to access it completely down to location.
Right now? No. Maybe next year some time. Until then MSFS2020 works fine. I can even download hundreds of liveries for free, unlike 2024 which is another limitation of this streaming nonsense.
