Mick West: UFO hearing witness list ‘disappointing’ | CUOMO

The House Oversight Committee will hold a hearing on UFOs next week, this time with whistleblower David Grusch and two former military personnel. Mick West, a science writer and author of the book, “Escaping the Rabbit Hole,” said the witness list is “disappointing” because he doesn’t think any of them will offer new information.

  1. There is a huge difference in a skeptic and a debunker. Everyone should be a skeptic. Debunkers are a waste of time and mental energy. Mick West is just copium for boomers. Pretending like there is nothing unusual going on is just intellectually dishonest.

  2. The only thing disappointing here is Mick West……….
Hey Mick why do you always look so worried?
You look like you were just with Jackie Gleason & Richard Nixon!

  3. As much as I hate to do it, I have to agree with West here. Where are the folks with firsthand evidence, who can say.."Ive seen, or touched, handled..etc.." These witnesses at the hearing..Grusch et al….will offer nothing new. Seems quite carefully handpicked which can be descrited as heresay

  4. I don't often say this but I agree, the witness list is a little disappointing. But I have my fingers crossed that the content of the hearings will more than make up for it.

  5. Everyone thinks Rep. Tim Birchette (Birdshit?) is going to be the one to bring a hearing with top generals etc. Not gonna happen, I'm certain that Rubio/Gillibrand/Schumer are working to bring this blockbuster hearing to light…Tomorrow's hearing is to bring to the masses (hopefully) the testimony from a few of the top 'witnesses' who are credible. They are going to put a man on first base, then second and third BEFORE hitting that grand slam!!

  6. Of course it's disappointing. They are parading the same three guys we've been hearing from for weeks, months and one (Fravor) for years. Nothing new here, folks. Oh, and the potential for the existence of extraterrestrial "Aliens" is trivial compared to the REAL issue here. If "someone" whether government or private industry such as Lockheed Martin Skunkworks, Raytheon, EG&G, etc) possesses technology that can manipulate gravity and/or access free energy via Zero Point Energy (Vacuum energy) [which is a theoretical origin of the astronomical amount of energy required to provide these "craft" with the ability to defy gravity and accelerate instantaneously] – it will change the world. But it will ruin it first. There must be a “TRANSITION” period. One during which no-one can see past the headlights. Nobody will be able to predict how long it could be before the catastrophe turns to miracle. There will be fighting, resistance from big oil, big electric and politicians who don't want 3rd world countries competing in the global market (since they would now have "unlimited energy" to do so) and the stock market would be completely upside down. If there is no profit in the replacement for OIL, GAS, COAL, NUCLEAR FISSION/FUSION, etc – why would investors be interested in investing in the infrastructure needed to deliver this "free energy"? Oil stocks would plummet and petroleum-based products such as paint, plastics, even some medicinal applications would inflate astronomically.

If you think 3rd world countries would benefit immediately – well there is another issue; "Free" things are sometimes hard to GIVE AWAY. Especially to 3rd world countries with little education or infrastructure. Look how difficult it can be just to send food and medical assistance. There is red tape, politics, geographic and climate hurdles, organization of distribution, etc. It would make you cry to see images of starving mothers holding their dying children in their arms while Greedy politicians, private industry and the Military industrial complex hoard this technology KNOWING it could change the world for the better. UNLIMITED LOW COST (almost zero cost) energy can be used to desalinate and transport water which is extremely inefficient. Reverse osmosis, distillation and electrolysis are massive energy-consuming methods of desalination. But if the energy is dirt cheap, it won’t matter. Reportedly, Jimmy Carter discovered this in the 1970s and is said to have been found "Holding his head and sobbing" soon after being informed of why he had to refrain from disclosing these things. And although it seems senseless – for now, unfortunately It makes sense.

My prediction is that the American people will not learn much in the way of truth about this no matter how many "hearings" there are. Only in closed sessions – will the truth come out. Anyone who dares repeat it will be ridiculed, sued, threatened and their assertions denied. Most will agree that this needs to be kept quiet for now. At least until a solution for the actions of greedy billionaires, corporations and politicians can be agreed upon. Be prepared for the "Cover Story". They might even admit to some significant advances in technology but will say they can’t disclose it in detail due to National security concerns. The Panel will be satisfied that the “Phenomena” are explained and are “prosaic” to those who understand the technology. They will generate (for the public) a report stating that the entity/entities responsible for many of the UAP have disclosed enough to warrant compliance with their requests but cannot disclose all to the public.

As for the technology – is it possible to have these UAP defy laws of physics as claimed by witnesses? Not really – and they don’t have to – the laws of physics do accommodate what witnesses see. In Einstein's world – if there is technology (and enough power) to create a gravitational well which draws these craft into itself – inertia would have net zero effect on the occupants because the occupants and the craft move together as one body. They are free-falling, not accelerating by outside force. So going from zero to 10,000 miles per second is trivial. And making 90 degree turns at 10,000miles per hour is trivial. Inertia is experienced when one mass pushes another – whether it is gas expulsion, rocket propulsion, or any other form of stored energy such as spring loading there is ENERGY associated with it. Gravity is not "Energy" – it is a hole or "Well" in space-time. Objects "fall" into it based on Gravitational Force = (Gravitational Constant × Mass of first object × Mass of the second object) / (Distance between the center of two bodies)2. If E=MC2 then all you need to do to is provide enough energy (enough to equal the mass required to open a gravity well "deep" enough to draw in a craft and its occupants) and direct it via wave guides to an applicable position. If the gravity of the entire Earth was concentrated into a sphere the size of a school bus – it would be astronomically powerful. If E=MC2 then what we are theorizing is that the mass of the Earth is equal to N energy. Generate that amount of energy with ZERO heat dissipation and you can almost control the universe. Assuming this tech is in the hands of government or private industry – do you think Lockheed and Big oil aren't aware of this? Oh – and If there are aliens – I think most people are ok with that. God is bigger than that.

  7. You know, there is value in skepticism. But that doesnt change the FACT that these two…are just ASSHOLES. Cant imagine ANYONE hanging out with either of em. To make your living shitting on all dreamers…what a POS. Shooting down anyone who tries to prove something wonderful…smh.

  8. No true UFO enthusiast should be hating on Mick West. If you want blind faith, find Jesus. You shouldn't be believing in UFO related incidents like you would a religion. You should be thankful there are a select few people out there willing to actually take the time to analyse these things, because so many people have been completely taken for frauds. I say this as someone who has fortunately had (and would never expect a soul to blindly believe me) what was undoubtedly to me personally, a UFO experience. I value skeptics and tend to agree with them over the charlatans giving wild speculations without ever offering any evidence or anything concrete, but always have plenty of bookings at speaking events. Mick West is right. This is speculation, and as interesting as it is, no evidence = nothing. It's just a fact, live with it. If that disappoints you, you're in a cult.

  9. I thought this channel would start pushing for answer but it is just another news network trying to push an agenda and doesn’t want to look stupid pushing the real questions

  10. I get it folks. We all wish some amazing, bizarre and unprecedented thing would happen in our time. If you don't like Mick's skepticism, just use evidence and logic to rebut him. Problem is, nobody can has been able to argue the facts against him and it looks like the reason is that there's nothing all that strange going on beyond a trick of perspective in most cases.
