  2. Mexican here, The Government of Mexico has already done its due diligence correctly, and most Mexicans want this project done. It's only getting negative press in the U.S. because Mexico opted out of American financing for the billion-dollar project. Black-rock is mad…

  3. This is just a hit piece. Archaeological studies were done in the proposed route, more than a year before construction began. The tracks have been modified a few times because they ended up finding relevant archeological finds. This hit piece is a result of Mexico not giving one of the most profitable tenders of this project, to Blackrock who really wanted the 5th section, which runs along the Mexican Caribbean. These NGO’s wouldn’t be a thing if the US stopped their funding sabotage the project.

  4. Horrible reporting. The Maya train was started after the President asked permission of the Maya people on those lands. Those people that moved were given new housing. The underground taverns and cenotes that are literally everywhere in the south are being reinforced to avoid any collapse. The "deforestation" is minimal and thousands of new trees are being grown in greenhouses to replenish even more than are cut down. This is not the case for the dozens of resorts constructed in the Yucatan peninsula that devastated the mangrove trees, yet no environmentalists or tourists complained about those back then 🤔 Lastly, ever since construction began many new Maya archeological sites and artifacts have been found. This is a project that has now been been considered part of "national security" and us Mexican people of the south fully support it.

  5. Stop lying and get more information or this Maya 🚆 is not destroying the jungle he’s not even touching the area and the cenotes 💧 that’s is a big lying. It’s all about nasty political people and corruption of the ambientalistas 🤮 is doing the best for Mexican and Obrador 🧓🏼the best president best we ever have in Mexico 🇲🇽

  6. US media always trying to make Mexico look bad
The Mayan train it’s a great project that will help the people and the economy in that part of Mexico
The majority of the people there are supporting it

  7. The train will still run through historic sites and new findings but hopefully the Mexican government could put all that Mexican history to good use and keep it within Mexico and not sale out like in the past…….

  8. Nothing is going to stop this project. It will become a reality. For many decades previous administrations did nothing for the Mayan ppl. The train will bring development to all the region. Can’t wait to see it and ride it. As well as see more of our heritage. Media like this just follows an agenda.

  9. Wrong Documental, Train path was moved to preserved the archeologists. Also, rail tracks in large areas were previously active decades ago, Goverment in this areas just re modeled the tracks for the new train. Note, the environmentalist are link to private investors that are not happy and the real environment destroyers, look at KALIKA, DO A REAL RESEARCH

  10. Not one bit of information on how the citizens of Mexico will benefit from this project. This report only focused on tourism and the jungle. The south east region of Mexico is the poorest in the country . This train will make it possible for them to move freely for work and school. The students will benefit from this !

  11. Why every project we have is ridiculed by media, if we build something they find the negative, if we don't built anything they criticize us for not creating jobs, if we emigrate you demonize us, if we stay in our country for good you disapprove us, if americans visit us you create divisions and fear, SHAME ON YOU NBC NEWS !!!!!!

  12. This project is an Amazing, for something to be created something has to be dystroyed. It's the law of equivalent exchange. But don't worry guys, what gets created will be way better for the country than what W ehave now. The USA dystroys so much land in the name of progress the difference is that in Mexico it will actually help the people and in the USA it usually benifits mostly the big construction companies. The show yellowstone shows you some of what I mean😉

  13. The pathetic Lopez Obrador does not care about México, but his little ego and his friends.. The train did not have the actual studies, and just because he is a corrupt piece of sh….declared it "national security" in order to cover ALL THE CORRUPTION BEHIND AND THE CONTRACTS GIVEN TO HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY..! THIS IS NOT TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF MÉXICO… IS TO HELP HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS INTERESTS!! IT IS PATHETIC THAT SOME PEOPLE STILL DEFEND THIS PARASITE!!
