  1. what a shame. would have been absolutely hilarious had Gurriel blasted one in the ninth. Oh well, always tomorrow.

lolmutts will finish july with, what? I'm guessing a 3-21 record.

    come and get us.

  2. Another Buck Showalter bullpen decision that almost cost them this game. Drew Smith is terrible he goes up there to throw batting practice and gave Robertson no wiggle room to work. DFA DREW SMITH.

  3. 467 footer——- During his days playing for High-A Brooklyn at Coney Island, Alvarez claims to have hit one into the amusement park beyond the left-field fence — a shot that would require a ball to bounce, unobstructed, for more than 600 feet.

  4. I think this game is bullshit… scripted! There is no way so many pitchers can walk so many hitters even to the point bases are loaded. Really? The pitchers are that bad on mets and Arizona? Too many games now have high scores..too many home runs. Are they juiceing the base ball?

  5. I've always wondered about certain players who use translators. Like Alvarez. He uses a translator in his interviews, but it looked as though he was conversing with Raley just fine in the bottom of the 7th. @6:33 .

  6. I don't care how club house he is or jolly good fellow or a chef he may be, you can't tell me there is NO 1 IN MINORS OR IN THE TRADE MARKET (FAIR TO MID PRICE$ RANGE) the Mets can't replace Vogelbush, come on man !
