This season is over. The Cardinals put the Mets into the coffin; the Astros are about to bury them six feet under. It’s time to face facts: this is a bad team, and next year is going to be a train wreck too. I know there’s zero chance that this team will undergo a rebuild, but they should at least sell at the deadline. Yet I’m worried that they’re going to repeat their inexcusably stupid mistake from two years ago and be deadline buyers.
