About The Game!
Samus receives a distress signal from a wrecked frigate in orbit around planet Tallon IV. Upon investigation, the frigate reveals itself to be a Space Pirate research vessel home to terrifying genetic experiments using the mysterious Phazon substance. There, Samus encounters her nemesis, Meta Ridley, whom she pursues to the surface of Tallon IV. It’s up to her alone to explore the planet’s interconnected regions, investigate its dark secrets, and end the intergalactic threat posed by Phazon.

Improved the visuals “just a bit”? There’s that good old nostalgia that forgets how things really looked back in the day 😅. Watched a side by side comparison, they overhauled everything from textures to higher poly counts and replaced character models, they could have called it a remake.
I have dumped so many hours into mp, it camole out in 2002. God I have trilogy on my PC for the prime hack that makes it a proper fps game. I have played every mp game and finished every mp game, I have the least time in mp2 though
I never knew that you were into Metroid games, Mr. Luke. This game does look cool and I do remember seeing Metroid being on the GameCube, but I was busy playing other games like Super Mario Sunshine to play it.

Super Metroid (SNES) is still hands down the best Metroid game. Even though it's on SNES, it still holds up today. Still playable
Luke, thanks in doing in playing Metroid Prime Remastered. I just bought Hogwarts Legacy, so I have to play through that game before I can even considere buying Metroid Prime Remastered.

Gosh! To think how far ahead of its time this game was on GameCube. Seeing what it looks like now is kind of crazy!
