Very cool looking game! I never played anything Metroid as a kid or teen myself, so it's fun to experience it with all the new up-gunned graphics! Love the dark, creepy atmosphere & tone of the game – very sci-horror in a similar vein as the OG Aliens films, Event Horizon and the old Space Hulk game.
Seems like a good deal of puzzle solving & intense exploration as well as the combat aspect… def seems like a game that can literally drive you up a wall trying to figure out exactly how to unlock stuff & proceed on!Lol

I wish I had the extra cash to buy it and play it but hopefully in a couple weeks, I’ll be able to get it.
I would definitely love to see a full playthrough of this game if you have time. it would be a lot more entertaining than your Fire Emblem Engage content.
Interesting the game had the GCN European narration… I have the feeling that in the controls option would also have the option for GCN controller mode in order to experience the new visuals with the good old fashioned way of how it was experienced back in the GCN games, note of reminder… to see the full ending you need 100% items and scans, meaning that if you miss bosses and in the very 1st area scans (as for the most part, you can scan pretty much everything else in the game) you're screwed to the point of going back to square one, the game still is great, this game really didn't get hurt with the pass of the time and only grew better instead.
7:19 What are you pressing for the Spring Ball? I have pressed every button on my controller and nothing makes her jump as a ball for me. I even flipped the controller stick like how it was done before and nothing happened.
Hey, man! This is seriously one of my all time favorite games. I've played it plenty of times, and this was easily the most exciting announcement to come out of the direct for me. Obviously I would love for you to play through the game on the channel / on Twitch, and the game is relatively short (about 8ish hours for an average lp).
I'll definitely be picking it up physically, but am super tempted to grab this digitally in the meantime to not only double dip, but also support Retro. Gotta get more Metroid in our lives, right? 😉
