To start, I think I’m over leveled for this boss and I’m super disappointed that I didn’t get to showcase almost anything in his second phase as it is phenomenal. Anyway, this is my new favorite boss in the game. I intentionally died several times just because I didn’t want to beat him yet and wanted to learn his move set better. His design is incredible, as are both of his beautiful cutscenes. The OST is unbelievably good, and the voice acting goes hard. As for move set, it is honestly flawless. Every move is well animated and identifiable, with tough but very satisfying dodge windows. He doesn’t have oppressive offense, but he keeps you on the back foot for most of the fight. His second phase is an excellent change, as he goes into an all-out assault of giant snakes. I highly recommend watching a showcase of this boss to see it, since it is just perfect. Overall, this is probably the best boss I’ve fought in Elden Ring, and I can’t wait to fight him at an appropriate level.
