  1. I remember going to the MidSouth Coliseum and watching these men sacrifice their bodies week after week. One storie I wished the told was the concessions brawl was the Tupelo Mississippi concessions brawl. Talk about mayhem!

  2. Damn wrestling was so much different back then. Now I see why some people put 60s, 70s, and 80s wrestling above early to mid 90s wrestling, the attitude era and the ruthless aggression era.

  4. Today's "heels" are lacking having a well intentionally designed heel look that rather unique to them. They're more concerned about looking more like a good looking model than a evil heel.

  5. This was a great episode.Even though I wasn't around during those years,as a wrestling fan who was born in Louisville KY I know of the importance of the Memphis territory because of the legendary Tuesday night matches at the old Louisville Gardens. It's also where Jim Cornette got his start at as a young teenage photographer.

  6. In other words, in an industry with fake fights that have predetermined outcomes, a single worthless piece of s*** was so scared to follow the plan, that he mutilated blinded and physically attacked another human being that had no intention of harming him. How the f*** do you expect us to gloss over that, and try to act like he was a victim?

  7. Even in present day, I've seen matches that can get you emotionally evolved…. It's like watching a compelling movie. I'm sure it's much safer for the talent that the fans know they are watching a "show"………. but it does take some of the feeling from it.
