Memorial honoring those who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan unveiled on Long Island



This weekend is the time to remember and honor our nation’s fallen heroes. On Sunday, Nassau County hosted several ceremonies to thank those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. CBS2’s Hannah Kliger reports.

  1. Imagine a monument to a war we lost where the idiot President attacked the wrong country. "Anyone in favor of a "Bay of Pigs Memorial"? How about Grenada – although that one was so short we didn't really have time to name it. 🙂

  2. i hope someone covers the monument in corporate logos. the same logos these soldiers really gave their lives for. what an epic waste and what a bunch of saps…
