At long last, we have finally arrived at the last season of anime set in the timeline of the Mega Man Battle Network and Star Force. No holds barred, let’s see what these final episodes have in store!
Shortly after the arrival of FM King Cepheus, the seal on the lost continent of Mu is weakened, allowing a new generation of viruses to flood into the world. Upon request by the scientist Dr. Vega, it’s up to Mega Man to figure out how to re-seal the ancient civilization and the angry god held within, but not before having to deal with Rich Dotcom and Hyde, two others with the ability to Wave Change and searching for the OOPArts for their own means. And just who is this Rogue character stalking in the shadows…?

Mega Man Star Force is an anime and manga series based on the video game of the same name. The anime premiered in Japan on October 7, 2006, two months before the game’s Japanese release, and concluded March 29, 2008 with a total of 76 episodes. Its debut followed shortly after the conclusion of a preceding Mega Man anime series, MegaMan NT Warrior, which ran from 2002 to 2006.
Mega Man Star Force follows the adventures of Geo Stelar and his extraterrestrial partner Omega-Xis, a duo capable of merging through “Electromagnetic Wave Change” to become Mega Man. Together, they combat various EM wave beings that threaten to conquer or destroy the Earth, especially the invading FM Planet’s forces.
The second series follows the events of the second game focusing on the lost continent of Mu. The ancient civilization vanished ages ago, and a few of its remnants still exist as myths and legends called UMAs (Unidentified Mystery Animals similar to FM-ians that also have the ability to fuse with humans). The UMAs begin merging with humans in order to search for the treasures of Mu, the powerful OOPArts, which will give them the power to revive Mu. After Geo and Omega-Xis encounter several unusual enemies, they meet a professor named Doctor Vega who sends them on a quest to find the OOPArts and stop the UMAs. Using the OOPArts, Mega Man is able to take new forms, primarily the sword-wielding Thunder Zerker form. Near the end, Geo discovers that Doctor Vega and her accomplice Hollow are manipulating Geo to use the OOPArts for the revival of Mu and the devastating force known as Le Mu. But Mega Man combines the three OOPArts together, forming Tribe King, and uses this new power to stop Le Mu and seal Mu once more. The series premiered November 3, immediately after the original series’ conclusion, and concluded March 29, 2008.

It’s a shame there’s no more Star force it’s been a good run
Man Geos such a fuckin wimp in tne anime
On the one hand it was nice to see that star force 2 did get an anime adaptation but on the other hand it felt that it didn't really do anything to try to match some parts of what the game did. The game definitely had a good amount of issues with the writing so the anime could have easily fixed those problems but they didn't. I would have been happy if we had like an anime based around my favorite game in the trilogy which is star force 3 but thinking about it, they would have made it even shorter and BARELY even be as good as the game's. Regardless this was a nice look into the 2nd season and while it itself is a pretty big disappointment your commentary and play by play was a lot of fun to go through!
Interesting series.I wonder if it could have been better if it was a little longer and offered some changes more time to breathe.
25:46 I think I speak for all of us when I say that this is the best part of the video and the script change must have been very hilarious to review.
Was that the red joker cartridge well I guess I finally get to see the other version of the game then
Even if short, I quite liked this season. Sure it had no time for anything, but in the end it didn't. Knowing it's the last one also helps with that. And other than Solos fate, nothing much else was left behind.
Also this helped realize that the guys here are into butts but not booba. Seriously, what the heck is with Vegas design.
16:50 Oh God, now THIS is a piece of early 2000's nostalgia I never thought I'd see again. Until now I had no idea it was from a 1999 Budweiser commercial.
Fuck yeahhhhh✊ …….
Starforce 3 when?
I'm curious to see your thoughts on the NT warrior manga
sees end credits
Street Fighter vs. Tekken????
What is it with the megaman anime and having caked up women..especially the moms!
Seeing how the story unfolded and how the first season went I’m almost wondering if the idea was another mid season finale showing the final boss and tribe king and a second half was thought up where Megaman had to master the other 2 forms to deal with an invasion by Le Mu with Vega controlling it sending various incursions out into the world maybe with the UMA’s as generals. People say it looks like they were told halfway through to wrap it up but I think that most of the show was going to plan but instead of a mid season finale they made it the real finale with the ending scenes being the unplanned or planned for further on stuff, heck with the return of the FMians maybe they had ideas for Starforce 3 since basically all of them did return there in one form or another
25:47 D-pad crew: ass! booty!
26:53 Me: milkers! milkers!
Seriously though, amazing jobs guys on making a solid synopsis on the Mega Man Star Force Tribe
Oh shit, DATS did the sub for this? Fun Fact: They're named for the organization the main characters belong to in Digimon Savers/Data Squad (The Digital Accident Tactics Squad).
