Mega Man Legends is a game in the Mega Man franchise. While the main series is known for its 2D side-scrolling platformer gameplay with very little story, this series instead features 3D action-adventure gameplay and a more robust story. The game is set in the distant future; a time when the planet Earth is mostly ocean, leaving some islands left for civilization to prosper on. The player controls Mega Man Volnutt, a teenage digger and archaeologist of sorts who searches underground ruins mainly for Quantum Refractors, which are the civilization’s primary source of energy. Giving them trouble is the Bonnes, a group of pirates consisting of leader Teisel Bonne, his sister (though the booklet says daughter) Tron Bonne, their baby brother, Bon Bonne, known primarily for his repeated line, “Babu!”, and the 41 LEGOesque Servbot kids. Mega Man Legends (titled Rockman DASH: Hagane no Bōkenshin in Japan) was released for PlayStation in December 1997. It was the first fully 3-D action-adventure Mega Man game and introduced new mechanics to the franchise such as RPG elements and a sandbox style environment for Mega Man to explore. The game was later ported to Nintendo 64 in 2000, to Microsoft Windows in 2001, and to PlayStation Portable in 2005. [Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Man_Legends]

  1. Ted, please let Alex know that there is a new show on the official pokémon channel that is called "Beyond the Pokédex". It's basically just a 'canon' version of The Dex!
I think I'd get a laugh out of knowing he and Kellz pioonered an official segment of the pokémon channel a decade before they made it themselves.

  2. I love the Patreon bit in the beginning, esp the different audio qualities! I feel like they could take it a step farther by replacing the snack, and/or who is eating it, and making that a third audio quality. I would greatly enjoy that, it would be a laughing matter to me

  3. Jirards a dick actually , not funny either, no jokes other than "hey editor put the knuckles theme over this" or doing mouth music of a vg ost and shitting on ted.

Bretts favorite joke is pausing the game after something unexpected happens and ending the episode with silence and he loves flaunting his intellectual capability.

And Alex, well he's an open book honestly he might be a little hostile toward the audience but I kinda f with those vibes, people suck.

  4. i'm so glad to hear alex mention the second episode of X-Files. I always tell people about the chef green cameo. But also I told him about how the FBI pulls up in a 1991 Ford Taurus. the most modern car of the day

  5. I agree with Alex about the weird amount of german in Japanese media, whether it be names or characters designed after historically german asthetics. It doesn't really offend or bother me, but the thing I almost always notice about it is that the japanese use of German is almost NEVER gramatically correct. Like, could they at least have a single native speaker do a pass over it once?
