Psalm 3
A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.
1 Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.”[b]
3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
4 I call out to the Lord,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.
5 I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not fear though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.
7 Arise, Lord!
Deliver me, my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.
8 From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We are your people in the name of Jesus. Though many rise up against us and speak death concerning us, verse 8 says, “From the Lord comes deliverance.”
We declare and decree that” your blessing is upon your people” in the name of Jesus. We shall not fear! You are with us. I have watched my enemies drop and the same shame they tried to put on me have been multiplied over the lives of them and their loved one. Some have been attacked by the spirit of sickness,
confusion, fear, shame,…You are my defense Abba GOD! You look out for me. You guard me as you would your own eyes. I may not see it all the time but you are with
me. You are my defense. You are my Daddy GOD. I thank you, praise you and honor you. All this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
