  2. Canada Post for as long as I can remember has bankrupted small online businesses in Canada, how can you compete with such high shipping here, highest in the world, unless you live bye a Stallion or Chit Chat, you can't compete as a online seller, shipping through Canada Post is outrageous, US is thriving from online sellers through ebay, Canada could be generating so much income through online sales if the Canada Post shipping wasn't so ridiculous to ship a tee shirt or a pair of jeans, there greed is killing Canadian small businesses. Canadians could be making billions off online businesses, selling new and pre owned goods here across Canada, but instead it all goes into the landfills, it's a dirty sham what Canada Post is doing to this countries economy. Sorry for the rant.

  3. They demand more money for delivering mail and packages yet they can't do it properly.

How many times do I get "tried to deliver" notices but they didn't even ring the doorbell. No point of trying their services if you end up picking up the items in a post office yourself.

I would rather get my stuff delivered by any other mailing service than Canada Post.

  4. Canada Post workers union should have taken a stance against mass immigration of unskilled workers, instead of a strike for wages. The private couriers will have an army of replaceable minimum wagers that will undercut CP easily. Their only bargaining stance is the stranglehold they have on rural routes.

  6. An implied contract is a legally binding agreement that's created by the actions, circumstances, or conduct of the parties involved, rather than by a written or verbal agreement. We the people have a contact with the people at the post. The people who own the post are responsible for the breach of our contact. Compensation will be required for the damages caused by the people who run the post

  7. Hard to feel specific empathy, Canada Post is a dying business propped up by the Government. Parcels are still being delivered from Amazon and I'm sure other retailers are just going elsewhere to deliver goods. Lettermail is the main hindrance and the only reason that Canada Post is even still needed but that's due to a statutory monopoly on lettermail.

  8. ……The private sector like UPS anf Fedex actually pay their Drivers more than Canada Post pays their Drivers. The Public enjoys cheaper prices using Canada Post then UPS and Fedex because Canada Post has cheaper labour costs for their Drivers.
People at Canada Post are underpaId. Canada Post froze the wages for 10 years under Harper and took half the Benefits away. The workers took a pay cut. Now the workers are trying to recover some of their lost pay. It is not the workers fault Canada Post is so poorly managed. Losing $ 3 billion over six years is bad management. Drivers at UPS and FEDEX are paid more than at Canada Post. Facts…….
