It's so damn tiring to play New World. I guess I'll just reactivate my FFXIV subscription and play that. I need some rest for my tormented soul.
This is like old Diablo 1 level duping. Joining into explicit “duping” labeled games and saying “whazzz up my dupas!”
They should have copied Mordred/Camlann/Andred from DAoC, a true PvP experience.
Economy is fucked, people are geared thru exploiits and they are nerfing end game progression rate, fuck this game.
From all the craptacular broken stuff i have seen from this supposedly "next gen mmo" i sure am happy i did wait to pick it up, and now, i most likely never will.
Having said that tho, i would have rather seen it having been a succesfull great game, after all, im sure a great number of us are waiting for something to really dig our time into, this sadly, wasn't it.

They can patch all they want, it won't fix the horrible end game watermark system (im 270-300 hours in), which is the worst endgame system ever. Running chests each day for loot thats has more RNG stats on items than guns in the borderlands franchise isn't fun. And worst part is that dungeons are useless untill your watermark is maxed out.
I really tried to keep playing, especially since a friend bought me the game. We both stopped since all this.

The storage full feature I believe is a good thing as it prevents vultures from buying low and selling high. Already someone whining about it as they're stuck at auction house unable to sell or move, lol.

The more and more that games of every genre perfect their co-op systems the faster the mmorpg will finally die off. 90% of players in any MMO do not even engage in activities that come about due to random encounters out in an open world.
Trash game. I won't play this ever because of the dupes. I quit around 30 like most people.

The end game is broken as. The elite farming areas have had luck and drops nerfed and mobs health and damage 3x increased.
No point doing elite chest runs anymore just expeditions now.

Dupes are the worst type of bugs in an MMO. Once the economy is fucked it's near impossible to ever fix it without drastic measures such as new servers or a rollback.
Amazon just seem to keep walking into laying down rakes over and over.

They destroyed healers as a class. I have zero interest in 'mixing playstyles', zero interest in melee, zero interest in heavy armour and zero interest in the void gauntlet. The vocal 20% of selfish whiners will get exactly what they deserve – and then they will go to another game and destroy that, too.
Burn, burn and burn…I vindictively anticipate the day the game shuts down and I have nothing but ill will for the PVP players, especially the great axe and war hammer users.
So the most efficient option for PVE players is to flag for PVP and get killed?

Haven't played the game because I was seriously worried about AGS first MMO being a shit show. I honestly don't know what they can do to fix the game without starting over again with the coding. Having an MMO driven client side is NOT good and is pretty much the reason for every game breaking bugs they're seeing.

by design, the only motivation to pvp should be for fun, anything else will eventually cause problems that you'll never be able to correct.
I rly like New World. But damn, all the bugs/exploits and bad decisions making it very hard to keep playing.
Is it just me, or doesn't this game feel like a rush job? It's like they didn't bother with transactions for their database or tried to do something smart with caching, but failed to ensure consistency.

Appreciate the clip, but you could have condensed it down to the 3 secs needed to proclaim that it's a steaming pile of refuse. I haven't seen any comparable incompetence since the days of Meridian 59 and EQ. Imagine how you could possibly nail together an MMORPG in 2021 and go through every single problem every MMO ever had since 1995 at least twice. It's beyond me.
