  4. It was fun watching your team. I ended up watching live from Phil’s perspective (giftsub for the win, lol) and you did awesome. Loved your attack on the Pink Parrots, that was a laugh and a half!

    Next time if no one else takes the initiative to ask to practice as a team, feel free to do it yourself. 😉 Every team will benefit from at least one practice to shake the cobwebs out, even after a month.

    FYI, Phil said at the tail end of the stream that it was a good team. In other words it means he had fun and he’d be up for it again. He said a similar thing after teaming with Blushi. Phil has always played for fun and hanging out with new people. He’s a very humble guy. Kinda reminds me of you sometimes except on the redstone, definitely not on redstone. 😂

  6. This team was so fun! I ended up watching you as Joel’s stream crashed but still had a blast. It was cool to see some new interactions with people from different communities. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and so did I! And you guys even had a good chance to win(possibly go to dodgebolt without Joel’s lag).

  10. You did great Impulse! Your BB sniping was on point! Really cool team for you to join, especially since it was your first time meeting Philza. Plus Ryguyrocky is cool; he got teamed with 3 hermits for MCC 6 so I knew he’d be a good fit for you on this team, and obviously Joel!

    Unfortunate for Cyan. Ranboo and Gee missed out on their 1st win. Also, I love Jojo and expect her to be 1st in all things but what can you do when you’re 1v3ing the Queen of hearts, heads, and body parts herself? False is cracked and it was awesome to see her take the spotlight again for the 4th time. She holds so many records now. 1st back to back winner, 1st and only woman to Ace (4th to Ace), 1st and only woman to 1v3 (5th to 1v3), 7th and only woman to 4 wins.

    Y’know what could be awesome? For all the MCC hermits to do a collab this season or maybe the next season. Y’all could build your own MCC Hermits hall of fame/Museum. There are so many winners now: yourself (27), Bdubs (27), Scar (25), Gem (20), Grian (17), Cub (10, 29), Ren (9) and False (9, 10, 17, 29). Or maybe wait until Pearl wins because it would be sad for her to be left out and I know she really wants it. D:

    Jevin (#1) and Iskall (#5) have also played one MCC each. Iskall was unfortunately a no show for #6 but Pearl subbed in for him literally last second. Iskall said later that he didn’t even know he was in it as he hadn’t put his own name down to be in it

    Nearly half of the active hermits (11/25) have participated in MCC which is super cool. I wonder if Doc, Etho, Hypno, Joe, Keralis, Mumbo, Stress, Tango, Beef, Wels, xB, Xisuma, Zedaph or Cleo might ever join? My best guess would be Doc. But Mumbo might be convinced.

    Also loved the daddy team this season. You all have really good chemistry with each other esp. with Philza! His laughs together with your team is contagious 🤣

  14. Philza is the terraswoop king, so I think you really could've taken the chance to learn some tips and practice with him in the future! I really think you have the potential to be a great flier like him! That way you can have BB and Terraswoop as your two strongest games :D!!

  16. hi impyyy here's my unsolicited mcc advise: during parkour tag ive noticed you keep turning around to check for the hunter and that's where they get ya. check the eye for when you know they're not on you so you can check where they are. usually your teammates will tell you and if they say that the hunter is on you just turn your brain off and run like a bat outta hell. keep straight unless you can dupe them (like when scott was chased by tapl in mcc pride 22 but it highly depends on the map)

    during rocket spleef rush: be aware of your surroundings before you rocket jump or updraft so definitely look up and down for the fast ones. scar says to wiggle your toes when you get too tense.

    during sands of time: i've noticed that you get too quiet and hyperfocused on your own path. like it feels like individual cus everyone has a different path but please be mindful of communication. it is a team game after all and especially call out if you're on a vault path because your team was asking about the red path and you weren't responding. your voice always matters in team games, always remember. i was gonna say that you focus more on mobs but that move with letting the pillagers out and running was good.

    for sky battle: if you're not assigned a role, you can stay back and get what's left o
    in the chests in the starter island/get the crafting table/tnt/iron/gold or anything your teammates may have left and communicate what you have. another thing you can do is something grian or false does often is to build railings on the bridge your teammate is building to defend from arrows/snowballs/fishing rods (but check first for people). when there's chaos around you, it's better to just focus on one person til they're dead than swinging left right and center bc it's not guaranteed you get the kill. also tnt/creepers, if you're about to die just go ham and place everything you got, you'll still gets kills that way even if you die after placing them. (they may have changed the point system so that surviving is worth more than kills so if you can hide till the end definitely do)

  17. As a full-time sprint toggler, I've had a concern ever since I first saw people using the "sprint toggled" resource pack. It still shows "toggled" between games etc which lets me assume it is only reading the key press and not discerning what actually breaks sprint in Minecraft. Toggle was updated to be better a few updates ago, but it's not THAT much better, and I think all of these still apply (copied from wiki):

    "Sprinting ends when the player collides with a solid block at an angle of greater than 8 degrees, sneaks, blocks or attacks a mob. If none of these happen, the player automatically stops sprinting after 30 seconds." (also eating and taking potions)

    I wonder how competitive players actually manage the 30 seconds part? I have no idea, but I'm very aware of it as I travel long distances and I know that you have to keep re-tapping. The same does not apply if you use Hold!
