MBTA is terrible!!!! Early this year a young man, who was going home from work, ran to catch the last train of the day. The train doors closed on him while he was still on the platform. He put in arm into the door and thought they would pop open which they do when there is an object in the door. Unfortunately, the train he was on was an old one and did not automatically pop open so This his arm was closed inside the train. He couldn't get his arm out the the door and the train started moving with his this man's arm still stuck inside the train. He was killed. The driver of the train didn't even realize that the man was stuck for two stops. The victim's cousin stated to local news reporters that there were only body parts found of the body. Another man, who I didn't not know, told me of his experienced some time ago. He told me he was injured on the train when the train doors closed right on his neck. He was talking to me but his head was bowed because he was not able to raise his head to look at me, due to the damage that was done to his neck. He said he will never be able to raise his head again and said he is in constant pain. Some time ago, I too was almost injured when the trolley driver closed the doors on me as I was getting off. He closed the doors in my ankle so the rest of my foot was still inside the trolley and I was outside. A passenger pried the door open to release my foot.
More trouble on Friday too. Switch trouble on the Blue Line in Orient Heights led to MAJOR, nightmarish delays. It's understandable once in a while, of course, but lately it's at least every other day something new! Is there some kind of deliberate sabotage??? Honestly. This is not normal at ALL!

I refuse to give MBTA another cent until they can fix their bullshit. We deserve better than this.
