  1. Resident Evil games should absolutely have official randomizer modes included. They already embraced the knives only runs, they should also do this, it feels so natural for that kind of game. Must be a nightmare to test though.

  2. My GOTY is Bayo 3…easy. Hell, it's the game of my life. I've never played something greater.

Didn't run perfectly, mind, but for what I actually care about, it's the greatest game I've ever played in my life.

  3. I feel the same way about ER, the game is so insanely massive that after my first playthrough of it I had to step away for about 7 months. Replaying it is a huge time investment, but the game is incredible. It truly is one of the best games in the past decade for me, and I'm glad a lot of people got into the genre because of it.

  4. Personally for me its Elden ring since it was one of those games i got fully sucked into, klonoa phantasy reverie for the memories and the gameplay/music still holds up and Sonic A.I.R. because the fans did a great job on that game even if i suck at the bonus stages!

  5. The Weirdest thing is Sifu showed a combat that existed since the Absolver game launched, perhaps that game never got to much traction with people. Max, please, take a look at Absolver, it is a great game, has PVP in it and can be considered a fighting game

  6. To me, SF6 would be in my personal Top 10 even though it's not out yet.
Multiversus and DNF were fun for a while, but I feel like I'm done with both games. In contrast, the moment each SF6 beta ended, I legit got withdrawal symptoms, and it left me wanting to play even more.
And. It's a beta with only 8 characters in it.

  7. I’ve played through Elden Ring 4 times 😂 it is very replayable with all of the build variety. Also you don’t have to take as much time on the second playthrough since you already know what to do and what to expect. I would love for Max to play again on a new build

  8. I really loved ER but for my goty I always want to find something unique and special, and rn it's a toss-up between Immortality and Norco for me. Not too many interesting high profile games this year.

  9. Don't usually try to recommend items in the comments, but if Max has such an affinity for Alien (via his discussion with Scorn and Aliens DLC) then a watch of Jodorosky's Dune, a 2013 documentary of the most important film never released. Both Ridley Scott and H. R. Giger worked on that unfinished movie in the 1970s, and that connection eventually led to the inception of Alien. It also helped bridge connections that eventually led to Star Wars as well.

  10. My personal is GOTY is god of war. I love elden ring but only a few people have completed the game. Also once finishing the game it’s hard to say I can go back and replay it vs. god of war I can go back and replay the moments all over again.

  11. I'll be the Simmons of the day and say Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was my GOTY. What a journey! Talking about improving a series under ALL aspects. The ending was a gut-punch that I still think about almost every day.
