You can't build directly over a park, but you can overhang buildings over parks on higher levels. Don't build platforms directly over parks. I tried that and while you can still build them directly over a park like in the demo now you won't be able to put any buildings on the platform if you do.
There's a little dark circle ine one tile, usually in the middle of the bottom of the building icon when you place it, and that's the only bit that actually has to be resting on something. You can rotate 2×2 buildings to get them to overhang the way you want because of this as there's no middle to a 2×2 the support circle will be in one random corner.
Reminds me a little bit of Cloud Gardens as well, would be cool if you can build to the skies. 😊
Completed both maps and got all upgrades in 4.7 hours
