  1. I wonder why Adia Turay now describes Tihani as the Omninesian Dojo Master, given that there are actually two (the other being Rawiri, the one Sophia told you to find, although he is the junior of the two).
I guess not starting any of the side quests until you complete the story is most consistent, as anyone else who's missing a side quest can just wait to complete the story too, the problem being that some of the quests do change depending on how much of the story you've completed, the most obvious examples being the Travel Writer and Better Future: Asterion side quests.
The best place to catch Pigepic is actually the small patch of grass on the way to Malachite, but it can be found in a couple of other patches in the Thelassian Cliffs.
Aw no, I liked the Swimming Tamer's old dialogue…
Kalazu only overexerted itself because you had Exhausted it first, so that was a good move on your part.
Since the Arbury update you can now find two varieties of Koish on every island. On Deniz, the Sillaro river only contains plain Water type Koish, while Wind type Koish can be found in the Upper Indigo Lake.
Nessla is actually a 10% spawn rate in both of its areas in Deniz, but it's still more common in Cipanku.
Huh, it's true, you actually run faster then Platypet, but instead of doing that respawn thing that Pokémon Sword and Shield does, you just have to wait for the poor thing to catch up.
The open shirt used to be 24,499 Pansuns during Early Access so 7,349 Pansuns is a snip.
DC Beam is only 50% faster than normal, but that won't help if you're too underlevelled.
Including both of your first two battles with Max., there are at least five battles which you're not required to win to progress the story.
At least for now, you'll need Platypet to take on Fire types, but you might want to replace it with Magmis once you gain access to the Anak Volcano, as it evolves into the new Fire/Water Mastione.

  2. I really get behind the story of this game but if I had to put up one thing I hate: It is Max. I mean, I get it, he is like the return of the jerk-rival character from the first 2 gens of Pokemon but even Gary and Silver weren't as spoiled rotten in their attitudes like him. Getting angry because the professor wouldn't give him Temtem after revealing he not only owned one before his coming of age ceremony and that his skills with Temtem were top notch (I give him credit, begrudgingly, as he is good). Was tempted to make a club and call it "We hate Max" club… too bad I was way too short on the pansuns.

  3. I actually managed to beat that bugger by the skin of my teeth. Thank goodness I had lots of Balms (also helped that he KO'd himself more often in an attempt to wipe out my Temtem). Sorry you had to go through that. He gets worse if you beat him, screaming out that you are a cheater and then threatens you by saying you should watch your back. Really, really hate that whiney brat…

  6. Hey Gym Leader Ed,
I have a question about Temtem. As it seems it is required to have Nintendo Online to play it at the Switch. My Problem is that at some point Nintendo will shut down the Online Feature for Nintendo Switch. What happens to Temtem then? When we are honest the MMO Feature is not necessary at all because you can't do anything with it. Im not sure if i should sell my Game after i got through it because i want to replay it after some time. Its also not possible to make multiple saves like with Pokemon or Nexomon.

  7. Just a small tip for anyone reading this: Just buy a few smoke bombs if you can, not like 2754 just like, 3 or something. And when you have quests that are deep within an area that take years to travel back to a safe place, instead of instantly running in every Tem center/Temporium you see, you only keep the one you want to return to so for example you want to go back to a different island, don't run in a Temporium, the bomb will place you at the guy from the ship so you can instantly travel to that particular island. Then when you completed the quest and want to go back, just use your bomb and tada, you are back at the Temporium or ship guy. That way you can skip entire areas without to travel aaaaaaaaaall the way back every single time.
EDIT: I don't want to spoil some things so I won't BUT Pansuns are always going to be a biggie yet the further you go into the game, the more Pansuns you'll be getting and ways to get more so the clothing store won't be all that expensive anymore in time. In the beginning and so it was for me it was an enormous turn off untill I progressed through the game.

  8. I really do think they messed up when it came to money in this game. I watched your video on the top 5 ways to make money but the prices on certain things like just an outfit or a piece of furniture is a bit much. Even for just healing items…80 for a Balm…325 for a Balm+….seems a bit skewed….I really think they need to re-balance certain prices of items in this game. Something I really do think they should introduce is a VS seeker. Make certain trainers level up with you as you hit certain milestones in the game, then put a little marker over their heads so you know who to talk to. Having to use a competitive team against the dojo leaders seems a bit much for people just wanting to get some quick money, unless they REALLY focus on PVP/Competition that much in the late game.
