@MattsOffRoadRecovery Uses the BusterBrace to Rescue a #fordbronco #offroad

Did you know our BusterBrace is also a recovery tool that can get you off the trail with a broken tie rod? We just caught up with the episode of @mattsoffroadrecovery where they use the BusterBrace to get out of a sticky situation.

  1. Iโ€™ll keep my 4 runner.. I donโ€™t have to expect and plan for future failures. How many broncos now have we see with bad tie rods? Should be recalled for safety. Iv been in a vehicle that broke a ball joint at 80mph and we shoulda died.

  2. Matt is just awesome. I sadly had to unsubscribe as I was finding myself working on building an off-road vehicle… I don't need anymore projects. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  3. Astro Tool used to make a pretty crappy one for just getting a vehicle's tie rods. You could limp a car or truck with a broken tie rod through a parking lot, so nowhere near as stout as this, but it helped where it could. This is so beyond that and I love it.

  4. It's sad that a product like the "Bronco " can't even be used for the very thing it was engineered to do without breaking every time. On the upside, at least a market was created so it can be limped off the trail.๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

  5. I put these braces a month after I got my Badlands in 2021. I've jumped it, taken it to three sand dunes and rescued a wrecked dirt bike rider. I've driven through Moab a dozen times with no issues. I appreciate the robust design. Thanks!

  6. It's srue was broke perfectly straight. I'd bet if it was a little twisted on the ends wouldn't work as good. Or will it? Can you cut it off to a square point and then haven't shortened side of the giant. Will it hold it then or is it gonna slide in?

  7. Thats actually a bad are product!!! And if youre using this as a brace and it breaks on either side of it you can simply move the product to cover the breakage and then be able to keep on going!!! Seems like they should be made for every size tierod and be used by every single person who goes off road!!! Damn…. Actually I'm now considering these for street cars aswell considering how many nondrivers there are on the road sliding into curb, rocks, drainage ditches ect …. This is an amazing product!!! Whats your email??? Ive got a great idea that I'd like to share with you privately and im totally NOT trying to gain anything from you, just share my idea with you. Its def worth a listen. Lol.

  8. Pretty good idea, I'm going to build a set to throw behind the seat just incase. Could have used this more than once between friends and I. Give it a shot why not. Looks fairly simple to machine out of a block of aluminum. Thanks.

  9. If youโ€™re in the rocks with a stock bronco and base suspension, you actually NEED this. I love Broncos, late 60s more than new mind you ๐Ÿ˜‚, and I respect the front tie rods are problematic. The proper fix for them is quite expensive if done right, so this is a backup until you can do it right!! If you donโ€™t use it in that time, sell it on to the next Bronco owner!! ๐Ÿ˜Š
