  4. My husband is currently battling ALS. Started having symptoms in December 2020 with pain and stiffness in his hands, went to the doctor and they ran test after test, by July 2021 he was considered disabled. October 2021 we got the diagnosis at the young age of 40, and today he is in a wheelchair on two types of breathing machines, one for the day and one at night. This disease progresses so fast and so aggressively. I have never been so scared or exhausted from something in my life, and that's saying something if you knew what our family has been through. My nights are spent waking up to the sound of his breathing machine because it gets so loud, then waking up to the sound of silence because i dont hear it anymore and think he's stopped breathing. I live in fear of the day I may lose him, because he has been my rock in this life and the last 18 years of our marriage. But I have found myself leaning on God more than I ever have. I pray for God's mercy in all of this, and if it's his will, the complete healing of my husband. I hate everything about this disease. It's the worst.

  7. My 12yr old daughter listens to this song almost every day while she colors a sunrise. Your song has inspired her so much. Thank you and bless you every day of your life.   12. This means so much to me for you to do this song and even more for you to feature him before and after his wheelchair! Even more for you to touch on my community as I have muscular dystrophy myself. My daughter is being tested for muscle weakness. Thank you so so much for this beautiful song man 💚 God is doing some amazing things through you!

  19. Matthew probably doesn't remember me, but he used to call me and talk to me when I was on the brink of giving up on me and everything in my life. I couldn't trust anyone, especially my so called husband, Matthew told me that I had to trust someone and it should be God. I'm a shy person and I always hung up on him, I wish I could talk to him now and tell him that I listened and I trusted in God and my life is still hard, but I am still here praising God and reading His word. And how my life has changed. Ty God and ty Matthew West

  20. My brother passed away from ALS in May of 2021 after a short 18month battle with this horrible decease. I was one of his caregivers and what they go through is heartbreaking. We had a fund raiser for ALS and sold t-shirts that said I wear blue for my husband, dad, papa, brother nephew uncle friend, and some just said for Randy. How he looked forward to checking face book to see pictures of family, friends and strangers wearing the shirts. The family requested everyone wear them at the viewing. It was something to see all those blue t-shirts. We miss you Randy 💙💙💙

  24. 😢😢 it is a wonderful life indeed… I am so grateful for the power in the name of Jesus and for the friendship of the Holy Spirit and the love of God the Father. Though it's always a tough time when we face life challenges but the joy that comes with the victories we have in Jesus name is much more and it makes all those challenges worth it.
    I am so grateful to God for the grace to know Him and for Him to love me and choose me.
