While its song structures leave a lot to be desired, Mika’s Laundry is a pretty good showcase of Matt’s range as a solo artist.

  1. There's something so uniquely amateur about the guys from BH that was a
originally an endearing quality but now that they're solo its beginning to bite them in the ass. They documented so much of their creative process during their early days and you can almost witness how they went from normal guys to cult icons. It really highlights how HK, Romil and Kevin were able to synthesize the greatness of each performer and mitigate their weaknesses

  2. I pretty much agree with most points. Def not a flawless album but it lays out a lot of good groundwork for whats to come in his career and honesty getting the solo material from different members makes me less sad about the breakup

  3. Matt's influence of Dijon shows so much in this album. Really needs to find his own lane in my opinion. The album sounds cool, but you can get alot more (and even better) from Mk.gee/Dijon

  4. As a former BROCKHAMPTON stan, I’m confused because nothing really has stood out to me from these guys after they split up, the only one however is JOBA but they’re only dropping Instagram reels of songs that aren’t even on streaming. They were so strong as a group and yet have become so annoyingly mid in their solo projects it just makes me wonder if BROCKHAMPTON was never a thing would any of these guys would have made it in a solo career? 😕
