  1. Truckers who have bought and fully restored the movie trucks from the 1997 horror movie Trucks;should bring their truck to MATS next year.
Hell;the truckers who owns the movie trucks from the horror movies Joy Ride,Joy Ride 2 & Joy Ride 3,should bring their truck to MATS next year.
You know what;there should be an entire section at MATS that is dedicated to movie trucks, someone should get in touch with the show planners and make it happen as I think that will be the main attraction at the show;seeing
trucks from movies & TV shows like Duel,White Line Fever,Convoy,Smokey And The Bandit,Smokey And The Bandit 2,Movin' On,Knight Rider, eccetera.

  2. Not all show trucks are in the show. You can always find some beautiful trucks in the parking lot. Great video Mike, as always.. Mike the Brauer 389 Pete you were looking at is a 2024. has a throw back paint scheme of the guys grand fathers 1976 White Freightliner FLD done off of a picture. Super nice truck and a very cool story. Plus that is when his grand father started the company was in 1976. I watched an interview with the young man that owns it.

  3. with out that mega carriers most of us wouldn’t have got our start in trucking , because no one else would give us young guys a chance . Do the mega’s pay a lot hell no but you have to start somewhere. I worked for a small father and son deal and they sucked to work for and went bankrupt for the second time . Not all the small carriers are created equal trust me on that.

As far as i’m concerned the international 9200/9400 and the 9900 was the last of international well built trucks . the lone star, pro star and LT are garbage . I miss driving the 06/07 9200i we had with the awesome white gauges that lite up green . they had c12 cats and 10 speeds

  4. Mike, I am an old-school retired driver. I am a self-proclaimed truck snobe. I think all of the new air streamed trucks are ugly. Freaking barf boxes. Yuk! I'm so glad that I got to drive in the good ole days. Breaker, breaker, one nine. Seventy threes driver.

  5. OK so Mike did you know that Stephen King wrote a book called "Trucks" where people are trapped in a truck stop and the trucks come to life and go on a rampage. That truck stop was Dysart's. And yes the book became the movie Maximum Overdrive. Also today on 93 in Na'Hampsha I saw a very cool K100 painted in green goblin green with a small and tasteful green goblin on the grill. I called out to him but then I remembered my radio sucks lol
