We get the odd tornado, waterspout or dust devil in Oz but nothing on the level you guys get. Stay safe and look out for one another.

I just want to say thank you for shifting to search and rescue mode. Some storm chasers don’t. I pray you were able to help since you were there so soon. I have so much for all those that have suffered and died. We lost one in Alabama. This town lost their town and 23 of their around 500 residents. Everybody probably knew somebody. It’s so tragic that most of these people did not even have insurance and can’t afford even the clean-up!

Could not imagine chasing any tornado let alone a giant wedge at night. You’re relying solely on lightning and power flashes just to see it and even then if it expands or changes directions you might not even know it

Remember, you’re a chaser, but you are a rescuer when you come across destruction. Always try to save lives as you are always some of the first on scene.

Horrifyingly photogenic in those lighting blasts. Scrub the footage to pause on a lit frame and you'll feel your stomach sink in awe.

Friend of mine is from Rolling Fork. He said 90% of the town is gone, some of the big businesses are thinking about not rebuilding, they aren’t sure if the town will recover.
I SWEAR WHEN I HEARD THE SIRENS GO OFF I KNEW SOMETHING BIG WAS COMING AND IT WAS A BIG TWISTER IN MISSISSIPPI SO I WAS LIKE HOLY CRAP AND UP TO 11:00 WHEN IT END AND I WAS TERRIFIED SO IT WAS 24 MINUTES AWAY FROM US..

Night tornadoes are even more dangerous than normal tornadoes as you can’t see them coming, you hear them instead

Day tornadoes are already terrifying but a huge, night tornado!? I can’t even fathom 😭
