Massive Protest at Arunachal House against BJP CM in Delhi

1. The Arunachal Against Corruption (AAC) was borne out of huge frustrations and anger accumulated over the years among the various sections of the society, particularly the educated unemployed youths against the rampantly growing corruption in the state of Arunachal Pradesh under the Chief Ministership of Pema Khandu.

2. In the absence of any effective opposition political parties worth the name, huge and unaccountable misappropriation of Public funds to the tune of crores in various Departments under the State Government have been unearthed. Many letters and Memorandums with genuine public grievances have already been sent to the Office of the PMO from time to time by various Civil Societies but there has been no response so far from that end.

3. The Delhi Chalo program was initiated as the final resort against the non-responsive attitude of the State Government inspite of the 28 long days of democratic dharna at the IG Park, Itanagar. The State Government has been giving a deaf ear to any democratic demands of any civil societies seeking for systematic and thorough investigations involving retired or sitting judges. Rather, the complainants are rubbished away to fight it out through expensive court battles. Going to court against the autocratic and corrupt Government is too expensive and simply unaffordable for any sincere organizations,

4. The AAC has all the documents of various charges of corruption and misappropriation of Public funds against Shri Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. The documents will also justify the way he openly promotes and practices nepotism of the highest order in awarding business and contracts among his close kit and kin in serious violation of the constitutional law which prohibits any elected legislators and parliamentarians from promoting nepotism.

5. Finding all the avenues of fighting against the misrule and misdeeds of the Chief Minister of the State closed and futile, the AAC was left with no alternative but to organize the Delhi Chalo foot march Abhiyan right from Itanagar to New Delhi against all odds to report the matter to the High Command in New Delhi for the submission of this Memorandum. All the relevant documents of charges against Shri Pema Khandu are attached herewith for favorable perusal and necessary action.

6. Last but not the least, the AAC would like to appeal for a systematic and thorough investigation of all the charges against the Chief Minister by initiating a CBI enquiry at the earliest for the welfare of the entire
