Land Raiders should never have lost the Assault Ramp rule.
Its a real shame the Land Raider will be ruined by the new Twin Linked rule, its firepower will be nerfed to irrelevant. Lets at least hope for Toughness 14….
Curious to see what the recommended table size will be. It seems like the trend for smaller tables in recent editions has reduced the roll of transport
18 bladeguard + hqs out of a spartans sounds fun
just this second GW posted "what primars do you want in your drop pod?"
Sold my land raider because it was getting dusty on my shelf π’π’π’π’
As it should be. (move and drop_
How many games of 9th did you guys play roughly? I got about 200 but still feels like 9th is in such a great balanced spot right now to just flush it all anyway π’
Battle wag be broken
for everything I am seeing, we are basically back to 5th edition, but fixing the problems with 5th (deathstars fopr example) soo good
So happy to see these changes. I recently got into collecting and building models to eventually start playing, and one of the first kits I bought was the LR. To find out it was basically unplayable on the tabletop was a blow π but not anymore!
Coming from 3/4e to 9e, I am glad to see that transports are going back to being able to move and dump units instead of awkwardly moving, having to sit there eating shots for a round, then being able to unload. It struck me as very awkward and made transports less useful in their niche: Transporting.
Tbh this looks like a hell of fun. And gives people a lot of options to play with. Awesome!
The Corvus Blackstar could finally be useful again!
If only he actually spoke english.
TAUROX NOISES
dark angles Chaplin leading a 5 man terminator squad with lighting claws and chapter banner in a landraider crusaider. 24 inch movement, 3 inch disembark, 6 inch assault, reroll to hit reroll to wound. 5 dice per terminator. average 25 power weapon wounds… used to wipe command squads and champions…
So guard (transport) superheavies crammed to the max with flamer (torrent) weapons overwatching seems like fun… assuming overwatch is still a thing?
Eldar seem to be slower than the Imperium…. Make it make sense
This brings back memories of my Space Wolf Rhino rush days during the Eye of Terror campaign…wow has it already been 20 years? Man I'm old…than again I haven't played since 4th or 5th edition so I'm way behind the times.
Going back to the fourth edition
Oh good. Played 2nd-7th ed and nice to see all my bawkses will be usable. (didnt even realise this wasnt how they worked now)
That thumbnail is exactly what I'm doing! GO DRAGONS! π
I guess my executioner is still garbage
Cannot wait to have my Custodes charge down the Landraider ramp!
How does this work for nondedicated transport?
