Marvel Sins Of Sinister Spin-Off's Are Bad

Marvel Comics are releasing 3 spin-off comics from Kieron Gillen, Al Ewing and Si Spurrier for their Sins of Sinister event. The Age of Apocalypse rip-off already looked unsinspired, but this takes the cake. It’s hard to get excited for Immoral X-Men, Storm & The Brotherhood Of Mutants or Nightcrawlers. Wes breaks down the details of Marvel Comics next X-Men event. Marvel Comics Sins of Sinister X-Men event spin-off’s are bad.

  1. All of these new enemies are exactly the same. "This person is a galactic threat who will change everything"… that's now the answer of a "who" question! If someone asked about Lex Luthor, you can get a straight answer on who he is. Same for all other classic villians.

  2. Whatever just happened to putting Mr Sinister or hell even Lady Sinister in a story where a villain manipulates mutants from the background and laughs in a sinister manner as he gets his way?

  3. That actually had the balls to compare this event to the badass “Age Of Apocalypse” Story?

Modern Marvel couldn’t make The Punisher look awesome! Just give-up already.

  5. I feel like the Nightcrawlers idea has already been done. Why not have a book about the Chimeras like the ones saw in HOX/POX ??? It’s the same idea as Nightcrawlers but more creative IMO

  6. Yeah, these type of events don't interest me in the slightest. The quality of comics from the big two seem to be at an all time low.
Today I received the Deluxe Editions of The Incal by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Moebius as well as the Fourth Power by Juan Giménez. I'll be enjoying European graphic novels for a while.

Also, I want to thank you Wes for recommending The Cimmerian by Ablaze Comics a while back on your channel. I read them and they're fantastic!

  7. Abort all of these titles and events in X-Men universe. None of this stuff is interesting or it has all be done before. Just go back and read back issues when the X-men were heroes and fought to create peace between mutants and humans. Where Wolverine was Wolverine, Charles was not a cult-like leader, where Krakoa was a island that devoured mutants, where there were no resurrection pods mcguffin. Back to a simpler time.

  8. The X-Men Solicitations were pretty underwhelming. Actually, the Marvel February solicitations in general were pretty boring. The only thing that I found interesting was the return of Danny Ketch in Ghost Rider.
