  1. Nerds flipped out when they said Kamala Khan was first mutant in MCU, When Professor X himself Sir Patrick Steward was the First MCU Mutant to debut and had the Xmen theme First in Doctor Strange 2 which was out way before Ms. Marvel show.

  2. it just seams hard to go through the X men rabbit hole and play with humans fearing a new race with how the MCU is set up right now. With the knowledge that there is a whole universe of superior technology aliens and superheroes popping up everyday.

  3. I love that you want to focus more on Cyclops. He has been one of my favorite X-Men for a long time and you are right: Fox just doesn't do him justice. He's defeated the Purifiers, Norman Osborne, Bastion, an Invasion of Skrulls, The Sapien League and others through superior tactics and leadership. Per Fury, the less time Scott has to make a decision, the more correct that decision is. This makes him one of the best leaders in Marvel. Do I need to mention that he is irresistible to telepaths? They can't stay away from him.

  4. The only thing missing that might come into play in the MCU version is that House of M moment: would, instead, that Phase 8 ended with "No More Mutants" and then Phase 9 becomes the path by which they return?

The MCU has put a HUGE amount of power into Wanda, and while the fans (and the nature of movies) may lead to a reconciliation arc…the comics almost never work that way with her.

  5. I loved this fan fiction, but one change I think would be amazing. What if Jean doesn’t leave after she kills Charles. What if Scott Summers somehow convinces the phoenix to chose him and let Jean go. Then they all go after Scott, he basically self sacrifices himself knowing he would be the villain, he dies after an epic battle. Then replace Scott in phase 9 with Jean and watch her push his ideology going after Apocalypse.

  7. The ONE thing I agree with in this vid is the treatment of Cyclops. Scott is the Steve Rogers/Captain America of the X-Men, the MCU CAN NOT make the same mistake Fox did, putting Wolverine front and centre, Scott needs to be the focal point of the X-Men. In the comics, he's marvel's greatest tactician and strategist, better than Doom, Magneto, Prof. X, Steve, Reed, Tony and T'Challa. Even Nick Fury called him the most dangerous tactician alive, he's basically Marvel's Batman. He has saved mutantkind from extinction 3 fricking times, he is just criminally underrated man, the MCU MUST Do Him Justice!

Also, at some point in this whole thing when it gets REAL BAD for Mutants, Scott needs to assemble X-Force to hunt down mutant enemies and threats like he does in the comics, showing that dark side he has that's willing to do what's necessary when the time comes.
