I think it’s possible he may have had a bit to drink. But I’ve been said Martin ain’t truly been the same since the late 90s there’s been a clear shift. He just lost a lot of that energy after all that drama with tisha and him lashing out in the late 90s. It’s not just his slurred words, think about it… Martin would’ve presented that award entirely different in ‘96-‘97 with just his energy and presence alone. Some would say it’s just getting older, but I disagree. Jim Carey, Kevin hart, Adam Sandler, Chris rock, dl, and katt have all maintained their same energy even with age. I think that shit in the 90s kinda did sumn to his spirit

It was nice to see several sitcom & drama shows whose cast members were reunite at the Emmys in the evening. The cast of Ally McBeal, All In The Family, Cheers, Grey's Anatomy, & It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia were represented in a nice skit on the evening. 📺

His speech is slurring (one of the possible symptoms of stroke aphasia), his mental processing appears delayed, and if you look at the symmetry of his face, he's showing signs of paralysis (his face is "drooping" on the left side).
