Olympus Mons is the tallest planetary mountain in the solar system, standing at about 13.6 miles (22 kilometers) high – nearly three times the height of Mount Everest. Its base diameter is about 370 miles (600 kilometers) – about the size of Arizona. It hasn’t erupted for millions of years, so it’s most likely dormant.
