It could be humans, if they try colonizing moon with same resources and efforts but less money and time.
Not first
Let's see them make it to the moon first, then we can talk about at six month trip to Mars.
SpaceX will send hundreds of robots to Mars to build a base for humans.
ThereIS NO WAY the government would allow a SpaceX program to function, be it political shifting winds, the publics will to see things fail ( as they had to, to make progress), AND that nobody in government is going to use the situation to their financial gains… Elon Copium is strong
Dealing with climate change on earth will consist of replacing a few of the long sleeve shirts in our closets with short sleeves. Terraforming Mars would require crashing half of the ort cloud into it.
super-human level. we can only be the bridge now to our ultimate form.
More like 100% robots, which is not exactly a colony.
Does anyone else think SpaceX will fail once the idiots realise E.M ain't getting peeps to Mars in his life time?
our helicopter suck in the deserts here on earth. Can't get better gas mileage and they want to screw around on mars. Mars will not be mainly robots because earth will never get its shit together to get it done. PLus scientists work with government and military so much so that even they have began to lie their asses off about all of their failures. They said plastic was good, coffee caused cancer, and that gas in those light bulbs, genius. smh
Excellent series of interviews with Martin Rees he has a real sense of looking into our not too distant future.
🤓
old farts are the best farts. Lex can handle him and is able to waft fresh fart into the old fart domain, this is wisdom happening in real time. awesome to see. brilliant!
it makes me kind of sad how all of the coolest sci fi technologies turn out to be the most inefficient ones. you can only go so far maximizing convenience before you realize everything is done for you, and at that point, what even is the goal? i just want my cool adventures in space damn it!
the symbiosis of young and old. we need each other.
Awesome . The most logical and common sense view of the our future space exploration.
Finally someone who knows what’s illusionary thinking like some of these CEOs think just to excite people and what could be possible.
Space exploration by billionaires is similar to building super-doopa yachts they like. They are looking to the future where civilisation breaks down and floating round the earths oceans may not be enough to survive this or other apocalypse. Go to mars
Im more interested in the dark side of the moon. In fact the whole thing should have been explored by now. Inside and out
Martin Rees is a valuable voice that needs to be heard more often! His commentaries can best be characterized as a combination of deep knowledge and wisdom – a rare commodity nowadays! Not to leave out Lex who is an important contributor and acts both as a catalyst and source of knowledge himself, together they form an unbeatable combination!
