I was cheated on by my ex husband of 16 years and to be honest I can’t be mad at the way they handled this situation(from what I know so far).
I would have much rather my ex been a stand up man and shut down his marriage before pursuing an outside relationship. Definitely still would have hurt but there is a right way to do things. It took counseling but I realize $hit happens and it’s F’d up but ❤ is ❤. I’m in a better place and I hope and wish him the best🤷🏽♀️

Yes this happens and it will continue to happen. What’s worse is when the woman is pregnant and the husband leaves you for the mistress, happened to my friend and during delivery he had nerve to be texting the mistress. My friend didn’t know anything till not long after having the baby was born, he came clean because she checked his phone and saw all the texts between the two. The mistress ended up pregnant as well a month after he’d left my friend and 5 yrs later he and the mistress are still together. Terrible. My friend moved on herself but had major trust issues obviously. Betraying your partner like that is beyond disgusting but the learning experience from such heartache can be very powerful. Life isn’t supposed to be all peaches and cream, it’s about learning, overcoming adversity and spiritual growth. Makes us better people when you learn the lessons I believe….. the old adage ‘life gives you a lemon make lemonade’ that’s what it’s all about
