In the first movie there's a scene in which the queen is shooting geese while talking to the king. The conversation eventually ends, the king starts walking away, and the queen turns around and shots down a goose. With its dying breath the goose lets out, I shit you not, the freaking Wilhelm scream. I couldn't take the rest of the movie seriously after that.
How can you say it's nothing like Napoleon unless you are talking about the battled cause Napoleon flopped didn't it and not great reviews isn't it and the public did not think it was great
Napoleon has a lot of faults so l am surprised you said that Mark unless you mean the battles in Napoleon are on another level but l l am looking forward to the battles and part two of the musketeers milady more than seeing Napoleon
I enjoyed the first film, and the second looks even more promising, so can't wait. Always loved the Musketeers movies, especially those 1970's ones growing up, adored those!!
Saw part 2 and loved it but it's really not for Dumas purists so go in expecting the scriptwriters to toy with all the original Dumas threads (swapping characters storylines) and throw in some mad action sequences and you will love it!
Wouldn't be better just to watch the three Richard Lester films from the 1970's and 1980's? I actually enjoy the Disney 1993 version, but I feel this story has been done enough.
I loved it! It wasn't quite as good as the first film which was awesome. This one has some odd editing choices in the final act, but doesn't suffer too much because of them.
First comment Love Ya Mark

I want to see both of these movies

It looks like it will be more fun than Napoleon

"Ripe overcooked romping action" is perfectly aligned with the original book, so it sounds like a rather good adaptation overall.
First film was brilliant 👏

Nothing will ever top Dogtanian no matter how much they try.
"It's not on the same level of Napoleon". Indeed. It's miles better (and truer to its source material)
I loved the first part, quite disappointed that this one isn't being shown on IMAX
I just saw the first installment which focuses on D'Artagnan, and really liked it. Looking forward to this next one!
The Richard Lester were divine 🤩 FFS Spike Milligan "good morning your grace" is comedy gold
Is it as bad as the last Three Musketeers debacle?
But does Eva Green get naked in it?

Do I want a romp with Eva Green?
Yes
