  2. Man, ideas and experiences belong to the universe. You try and come up with a thought or an idea that has never been thought of in the history of mankind. Darned near impossible! Two comedians can have the same idea, and even the same experience, yet speak about it from their own unique perspectives. That doesnโ€™t make it โ€˜stealingโ€™ ladies and gentleman.

A lot of people have been cheated on, had break-ups, liked a girl who didnโ€™t like them, had confrontations with bullies, had pricks for bosses, gotten drunk at a party, etc., etc.. No comedian has a patent on these universal human experiences!

Jerry Seinfeld has a bit on one of his stand up specials where he talks about his cheap Halloween costume as a child. Granted, he mentions nothing about an ups box, but stillโ€ฆ..itโ€™s the same human experience from a different perspective.

And Iโ€™m not even defending Steve Harvey. All Iโ€™m saying is, Donโ€™t be so quick to believe everything these celebrities say. Use common sense and filter the information. And understand, regardless of whether itโ€™s true or notโ€ฆ. Itโ€™s not going to affect YOUR quality of life!

  3. These dudes act like like the one joke that was "used" is the joke that propelled them to success…sounds like people wanting to latch on someone's success just to say…he used me to get to where he is…or he had to steal this from me to get to where he is…bunch of jealous drunk individuals….misery loves company

  4. This is so crazy I'm not saying that Steve probably has taken a joke or two in his lifetime. According to a few comedians all comedians have borrowed reused revamped or whatever someone else's jokes in their lifetime. But my problem is this was a joke that he claimed was his actual life experience of putting on a box for a disguise. Will my wife did the exact thing because I used to be in UPS driver so she dressed my son in one of my uniforms and put my daughter in a box as a team and they won best dressed LOL. So did she steal Mark Curry's idea know because that was in the mid-90s when my kids were in school. To me that's just like Katt Williams saying that Steve was not homeless. How the hell would he know if Steve was homeless in his twenties. He claimed that old Steve was not homeless because 25 years ago he and Mark Curry were making $3,000 a show together. Well 25 years ago Steve was 41 years old his claim of homelessness was early in his young adulthood in his 20s so what are you talking about Katt Williams and Mark Curry as though people can't have the same experiences and joke about them like you have????๐Ÿคก๐Ÿคก

  6. Since the Katt Williams interview on Club Shay Shay, I have lost a lot respect 4 Cedric the Entertainer. And now, I have even less respect 4 Steve Harvey. I wonder if White comedians steal other White comedians' material? ๐Ÿค”

  7. I'm glad Katt is giving folks their flowers.

People also need to give Robert Townsend his flowers too.

He was the original sketch comedy king…..Hollywood Shuffle, Robert Townsend and his Partners In Crime.

Clearly Robert didn't sell out and that's why he is under recognized but I'm here to let folks know, Robert Townsend put black sketch comedy on the map using his own money and credit cards.

Show the man lots of love too!

  8. Mary Curry is funny, yes, but all the success that Steve Harvey has acquired and the material that he came up with even after all of this, which was years ago. Everybody wants to get geeked up on some bs that is so unimportant. Out of everything that is going in this nation and among our people, the ignorance choose to focus on garbage and tea, not realizing it takes money to buy the tea. Is this what we have come to as a people, not aspiring to be and do better, but have become content in ignorance and simple-mindedness in its purest form?..smh lord, please help these deaf-eared generations of folk

  9. If you ever get a chance to see Markโ€™s standup please do. I did NOT expect him to say some of the things he said and I swear I was laughing so hard I was crying. I wonโ€™t ruin it for you but Iโ€™ll say this… Donโ€™t expect Mr. Cooper! Mark ainโ€™t no joke!

  10. Mark Curry is a lot funnier and more real than Steve Harvey! He comes to the neighborhood where he grew up and goes to the Youth Center to mentor the young people. He never forgot where he came from and he is one of our Great Comedians. I have not seen him in a dress either! Why did they black ball Mark after his series ended? I don't like Steve Harvey and the more i find out about him the less I like him!!

  11. That you're trying to make something about what Curry said about coffee being about Harvey is just plain STUPID. Harvey definitely used one of Curry's old jokes, but the coffee thing…. STOP REACHIN'
