If he had caught the ball his momentum would have taken him out of bounds outside without him completing the process. His right foot lands out of bounds and he would not have completed the pass in-bounds.
Is no one going to comment that the pass was behind him, at his thigh, and slow AF? Andrews had to turn 180 degrees from his direction and his right thigh comes up too high as he's back pedaling. Was it catchable? Ya. Was it a good pass? Hell no.
