  1. I understand that Servais FINALLY decided to tell it like it is after this one. About time, too! Either he's fed up with lack of effort, or he knows his job may be on the line soon, but either way, someone had to step up and say something, otherwise we'd be looking at another TWENTY YEARS of rebuild…probably gonna end up happening anyway.

  2. Even though the Mariners lost today, George Kirby had a great start which is good to see after losing Robbie Ray for the season. Seattle has still been off to a slow start but I think they'll turn it around soon and get back above .500. Good luck to the Mariners in their next series against the Blue Jays

  3. The home run is the most exciting hit in baseball, that's not up for debate, but you only win one game with a home run, nonetheless. I make this reflection, because most of the players go to the batter's box, to pick up the ball, that is, in search of the four-cornered hit. Many of them even lower their batting average a lot, putting their stay in the Big Show at stake. My humble appreciation is that the most important thing is to seek to hit the ball, that the home run will come out in due time. We can cite great MLB stars, who were not homers, such as Kirby Puckett of the Minnesota Twins and Tony Gwynn of the San Diego Padres, just to name two. I see Vlady Guerrero Jr., who is making a good adjustment giving the hit, without the pressure of constantly looking for the home run, and this has made him a better hitter, with a good batting average, among other benefits for the player.

  4. Very interesting uniform matchup that I'm sure I've never seen before… teal vs powder blue. And I gotta say it looks quite nice. Beats seeing navy vs powder blue… Mariners for whatever reason will be playing without a road gray this season, as will Tampa Bay. Not very traditional, not cool to see.
Not a single other comment here talking about this super cool and intriguing uniform matchup… I love the actual game too, but I'm also a wh0re for sports jerseys.

  6. Phillies bullpen is down right nasty. Tough start to the year, but Seranthony, Alvardo, Soto, Kimbrel, and then Strahm eventually going back in there. Elite bullpen

  8. Seattle Mariners defensive wall:
    🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱
    🧱🧱🎉1-run allowed 🎉🧱🧱
    🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱🧱
    1-run allowed = a 90% win ratio.

Congratulations and Outstanding defensive job. Ya I don't care if you win or lose any game when you allow only one run. Because, over time, you'll win 90% of those games. And when you do lose, just tip your hat to the opposing team, with much respect.

Also, there were three players who did not play in this game, for the Mariners:
Mr. Wong, Mr. Flexen and pitcher Diago. I think that's how you pronounce his name.

Keep these players out of your lineup, and you'll win more games.
