The wind's howling.
At least if you move out of the field boss' zone it doesn't reset it's health
Crucible knight beat my ass so many times till I learn to parry him then I parry his ass the entire fight till he died.
With the exception of giving up on Parries too quickly, it felt like Woolie just kept trying the same thing over and over and over again against Crucible. Didn't switch weapons for another Dmg type, didn't try Jumping the sweeps and attacking mid-air to keep his DPS up. Didn't try lining up the Bloodhound iFrames. Didn't keep Casting-Kiting to atleast eat through the boss' HP to see 2nd phase. Didn't spell-blade. I don't even own the game but I saw multiple options available with the limited tools he's allowed himself.
1:54:50 Reggie's head bobbing to the incoming knives is so endearing
I fought and beat the crucible knight with the Bloodhound Fang and a lot of what Woolie calls "fake openings" are in fact real openings.
I'm glad woolie is taking his time but I want him to learn guard counters so he can feel the same pleasures I get when learning where I can do one on a boss moveset to build that stagger up
"ackttwally, its Not a Dragon, its a wyvern" – some Random nerd, probably
Bro woolie it’s cool we enjoy how much time you’re taking on these mini-boss fights I’d say don’t sweat it so much on unlocking the map. Unless you’re trying to rush this game so you can move on to other stuff which I hope isn’t the case.
I have to temporarily unsubscribe. I CAN NOT have Elden Ring spoilers as title cards in my feed.
1:48:20 That's what she said haha
AURELIA IS OUR FUCKING LASS LETS FUCKING GO JELLYFISH
Sekiro's attack warning was actually a training wheel to the fact that you can jump over stomp & low sweeping attacks in Elden Ring.
"I'm fighting the dragon bossfight, the only dragon in the early game. Better not use my consumables that are only useful against dragons, it's wasteful."
I get the urge too, but they're anti-dragon consumables, when else are you going to use them, if not in a bossfight against a dragon?
Don't sleep on that jellyfish ash man although Oleg is just objectively better
I also feel left out in the cold with all the faith items in the game. -_-
It actually surprised me it only took me two tries to take down Magrit. Usually I'm a two boss and done guy in souls games. The only one I made any headway in was Bloodborne.
"He's super honest" For the first half maybe, most bosses are until you hit That phase, but Woolie can appreciate an honest liar.
I spent so much time on this boss, that i learned which moves could be parried 100% everytime. In the end i ended up defeating him by just waiting for the right attacks and baiting him. Buckler is still good in Elden Ring.
This isn't to say Woolie should play any differently, he should do him, but I have to say I think I just don't like watching the horseback combat in this game. It's such a limited set of options. I knew I preferred to hop off my horse for combat, but watching someone else do it I can pick out what I dislike about it a lot better.
You gotta get out of the mindset you have to fight every boss as soon as possible. Just come back when you are stronger.
"YOU'RE a storm? Okay." – Reggie, burying Woolie. Omg, man's got me in tears.
