  1. Interesting indeed. Quick one though, if the camera is moving and if we want to bake, let's say, the texture of the table frame by frame, is the background plate node would be useful?

  2. This is great. Have wondered for a while how to just get this out composited as it is in the viewport, that should really just be a checkbox on the background plate or something, would never have figured this out!

    Thanks for the useful video! In most of the work you need to get shadows only from specific objects. How to make sure that the table does not cast a shadow on itself. In the mantra we simply excluded the geometry of the table from a specific light, but how to do this in karma?

  4. This is a very useful series! How do I add a ground plane (in this case the table) back to the scene, so the object (in this case the candle plate) will get the correct bounce light from it?
