Let’s go
I luv pie 🥧
What was the invasion like for Innistrad?
To quote Dance with Calamity, "It was just another day…"
Talkir (dragon plane) looks really cool.
In the end, logic, stakes and the spair planeswalker (lukka) died. War of the spark 2 everybody
Ikoria, where the behemoths tackled Phyrexia underfoot and even the might of Phyrexis wasn't even worth of note by Zilortha.
Zendikar, where the plane itself rose with natural might to fight off the invaders.
Ixalan, where the rage and fury of the Dinossaurs, the cunning of vampires and stuborness of humans prevailed.
Tarkir, where the fire raged and wings of flame buffeted the cancerous away in searing wrath.
And Innistrad… where it was just another Tuesday,
As you can see, I have a bit of bias with certain tropes.
How fitting that a Phyrexian invasion of Kaldheim, a Norse inspired plane, leads to their version of Ragnarok.
Time stamps?
And with Aftermath on the horizon… MOAR LORE
Hi Lorebrarian! 48:19 I think this is a small editing mistake, Silumgar appears as you're presenting the Mardu. I love your video btw, it's a masterpiece! 🙂
Meanwhile, Jace is preparing the glorious rebirth of Phyrexia… He will become known as "Jace, the Uncle of Machines of Neo New Phyrexia"!
They would have succeeded if they choose to invade one relm at a time.
Another top tier delve into MTG lore!!🔥
40:31 that devil girl is kinda hot.
I'd love to hear more about the end of the invasion. From what I ggathered, it seems that Teferi invaded New Phyrexia, with Karn, they almost got Elesh Norn, but in the end she seems to have vanquished every Zhalfirin, and when she was about to slay Karn, Elspeth, who was supposedly dead, emerged as archangel, and slayed Elesh Norn. I'm sure I'm missing some info, therefore i'd love to hear about that 😀
My favorite flavor text was on ikoria invasion
Phyrexia largest Goliath stormed ikoria ready to challenge the world great monsters
Zilortha was unimpressed
Also I really hoped in phyrexian invading innstrad only to realese the aeon thorn the promised end emrakul from its moon and collectevy shit their pants when the eldrazi titan call again his two buddy for a buffet on the multiverse
Amazing content as usual. Thanks a lot for the trip down memory lane and into compleation.
I know you spoke lots about dominaria, and have already made a video about Akroma, but is there any chance you could produce a video on the whole Mirari debacle?
I love how the people of Kaldheim are just like "if we cant have the tree, no one can!"
How about an in depth Ravnica guide on all of the guilds and their leaders?
I like how much flavour they added to each invasion not just through the battle cards but also the online side stories and commander deck lore. Bright palm being the leader of the defence of towashi really added to that commander feeling like part of the story
Love the video 🔥🔥
If only WotC put into their own lore half the passion that channels like this do, we might have had an epic story spanned across multiple sets really seeing how each of the planes and its heroes faced off the Phyrexian hordes, instead of that rushed and half-baked resolution that the official writing team put out.
I guess it's better just to write ourselves most of the story based on the pictures and flavour text on the cards.
Still would like to see Amonkhet before Bolas destroyed it. It could be a stand alone set telling the story of how Bolas destroyed the plane and warped the gods to make them do his bidding
