An unconfirmed number of persons died in a fuel tanker explosion at Ugwu Onyeama, Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, a few kilometres from the Enugu metropolis, on Saturday.
However, although some reports put the casualties figure at over 10, we have not been able to verify it, and none of the emergency responders have made a statement.

  5. Oh God, God, God!!! Whats all this again? The FG should come with a policy on how to mitigate these tanker fire accidents. Call the experts, sit down and find solutions!!!!!! This is not space science for goodness sake!!
    Remember when planes were falling off from the sky in Nigeria? OBJ called for a stakeholders meeting that was televised live on national TV. That proved to be a panacea to that crisis. Pls we can't take this any longer. Please and please.
