What a BEAUTIFUL STORY!!!! I cried tears of sadness and joy for the Miller Family!!!! I love genealogy and I have researched my own family history. ♥️
I like what Fred said, I want the story of slavery told.
Como dicen por ahi "La vida da muchas vueltas " Que historia tan impresionante !
The only thing more beautiful than Sharswood is the Miller family who were called back to it by the Old Ones. As a genealogist/family historian, this story gives me chills. This beautiful family has come full circle and I my heart rejoices with them.
I wish professor Gates involved with this case he knows a lot of history I love to watch him every time . I am glad you owned the house its a wonderful story. Thank you CBS
My last name is Pitts too OMG
Sounds like it came full circle to me, great story!
This could become a popular historical site. I enjoyed listening to the story behind the property. This knowledge was more history to me than I received in school. 🥰🥰
The fact that the sister said this is where we started is sad.
The good ole days
That’s crazy! To sit under that tree an ancestor has sit under, looking at that house. The same house he now owns.
I hope their spirits comes to those family gatherings and rejoice with their lineage.
I'm happy and sad at the same time
God turned it around to proved the world off his mighty acts
This is something that the Bush Crime Family would love …
AMEN!!! This is the epitome of amazing through and through !!!
Touching and tearful and let’s just say Ms.Keys look damn good for 90
That is crazy I think I met Fred Miller… He also said we're all the way here from Virginia & I said welcome…. They were getting ice cream, that is crazy if that was him I'm not 100% for sure but I think that was the guy I met, if so what a small world you never know who you'll meet!! Grateful 🙏🏽
Amazing story.
Wow! Let reconciliation happen. This is American History
What an amazing family so happy for them
🤯
We all want it told I think.
Amen to be whole,,🙏 God bless your family.
It’s crazy how someone can be deprived of there history of there ancestors. How do we get to a point where we don’t know any of our own ancestors
I wonder if an ancestor said, “One day we will own this house.”
I love heart warming family stories!!!
This really touches my heart
This story not only shines the light on a Black family learning about their ancestors, it shines the light on a painful time in United States history. With me, I don't know much about my family history on my Mother or my Father's side. My Mother is from North Carolina, and my Father is from Virginia.
Well one thing for sure and I am glad that nothing on earth will last for ever. In the blink of an eye another generation will come and another and another and GOD will judge all
Wow
Incredible and touching! A story that should be heard by all…
The owner didn't think he would get the house bc he's black. 🤦🏼♀️🙄 The mentality of the black community is just unbelievable
What an awesome story..
God speed
Am from Ethiopia and my aristocratic ancestors used to own "slaves" from "less civilized tribes" from southern parts of Ethiopia, my great grandfather then had children from one of the slaves other than his wife's…..in recent years though one of the "slave's" daughter bought all of her half sisters belongings for the sister had to go through huge financial crises and sell everything. I remember my mother saying to me "look, how God speaks"!
What a lovely family.
That's a flex
Amen! This story of the miller family is so touching, I know what it feels like to find out who you are, and to what family you came from. May God continue to bless you. 💋❤️
What a lovely family. I wish them years and years of happy get-togethers at Sherwood. Wish I were there.
…and the meek shall inherit the Earth 🙏🏽♥️
God Will Only Show us all this, this One Time.
Best 60 Minutes ever!
a black man owns the plantation ! well things have changed… no big deal
They brought you back…energies are real..
Love this story
What a history to discover about their ancestors and forth generation to but the very own property and own by their very own sons. I just love the findings by the Millers.
