Man Tracks Down Stolen Truck Using Apple Air Tag

California contractor Robert Pendergrast watched on a neighbor’s surveillance camera as his pickup truck was stolen. Lucky for him, he had an Apple Air Tag in the trunk. The Christmas gift came in handy, as it showed Pendergrast the exact location of his truck, in real time. Minutes later, he was in hot pursuit. He called the police and gave them a running blow-by-blow account of his truck’s whereabouts.

  1. When I bought my 2023 F-250 a few months ago, the lady was telling me about the “Ford Pass” app. She said one of the perks was that if my trick was stolen, I could give the police access to the app so they could find it. I told her if my truck is stolen, I’ll go to it myself.

  2. Beware of a criminal in possession of a stolen vehicle. He's highly likely to be in possession of a stolen firearm too. Crooks commit different types of crimes to support their criminal lifestyles.

  3. Guess what will happen when we all get micro chipped. Those is 'supposed' authority still won't help if someone gets abducted. If agencies won't assist in recovering stolen inanimate property, you can be sure getting loved ones back will be harder. Step up to the plate, fathers. Protect your family.

  4. It may be Dangerous to take matters into our own hands. But it is better than a police telling you, nothing they can do. The DA letting them off the hook.
Time we people take back our country . From thieves and the lawful thieves "the Government "

  5. Cops can't do anything about it.
    It's considered as pitty theft.
The cops don't have the resources to bother with stolen truck.
Especially the States that defunds the police.
