I still don't get how did he get call the police I mean nothing that major even really happened to were he needed to be like call the cops cause someone may happen to be also camping at the same time as you but in a cave and there were also some people at the same time doing something questionable Activities and didn't even really bother you or even really threaten you just seems like piece's of the Story are missing or just isn't adding up!? So many untrue things in this story. The Sonoran desert is NOT in Colorado. You cannot take a selfie with a disposable camera on a stick. You cannot send photos from a disposable camera to another person electronically. Drug Lords from another place don't usually holler at each other in English. A $1000 reward is a joke for leading authorities to these criminals. Totally bogus story.

I think that Dirk is nieve and put his life in danger by not being prepared for multiple dangers that could have crossed his path. My little sister is an easy going, trust anyone kind of person and would talk to everyone. No matter how hard friends and I tried to school her she just wouldn't believe that there were bad people on this planet who are just plain evil. She learned the hard way and lost her soul to the evil that humans do. There are a lot of foolish people who think like her. Stupid people do stupid things. Evil people do evil things. That's life.
