A barber shop customer jumped from his seat midway through getting his haircut to help a police officer who was being attacked across the road.
Kyle Whiting was in the barbers when he saw an officer standing near a man waiting at a bus stop in #Warrington, #Cheshire.
The attacker was seen in a black jacket and grey hoodie standing near a bus stop, before he starts to hit the officer forcing him to the ground during the attack on Tuesday at around 11.40am.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Mr Whiting dashed out with his barber’s cape still around his neck to assist the officer.
He pulled the aggressor off the officer as other witnesses gathered around to help before police back up arrived.
Another policeman from a marked police car parked around the corner then ran over before a second response vehicle pulled up.

Not all heroes wear capes
Why the F did the person filming say “oh yeah” when copper got punched?
ZZZZZzzzzzttttt!!!! The barber said "that bald spot will grow out in about a month!!"
I didn't see him jump.
Whats even funnier is that he is completely oblivious to the cape 😅
He even has a cape!😂
I’m amazed someone didn’t start filming whilst shouting “don’t hurt him”
