A fight in west Charlotte left one person dead on Wednesday, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said.
The fight happened on Forestbrook Drive south of Tuckaseegee Road. Police were called to the area around 8 p.m. after a man was reported to be suffering a medical emergency.
Police learned that the man was involved in a fight and later died from his injuries at the hospital.
