A New Yorker, watching from an apartment across the street, cannot believe his eyes. From a distance, photographer Kieran Murray thinks he sees out-of-control flames inside a Manhattan high-rise. After he called 911, firefighters rushed to the scene. Turns out, those were not real flames. Instead, it was a Yule log fire video being played on a big TV screen in Ali Lyonsβ apartment. It's better that he called then not. There was a tragedy in my country where a house was burning down Infront of a crowd of people but no one called the fire rescue because they all assumed someone else would call. When the fire rescue finally got there a grandmother and 3 grandkids had burnt to death.
