Gravis supremacy
Can the unit get the adaptive strategy stratagem while being inside a transport in the command phase?
Surprised you didn't mention Uriel to give them deepstrike. (unless I missed it.)
If you went with Calgar you could also include Uriel Ventris into your list. He can give any infantry unit in your army deep strike with his Master of the Fleet ability.
If youre gonna have Calgar with Ultra Marines, use Ventris to deepstrike the unit
hoping we get at least 3 months out of this unit.
Wondering why they're the only powerfist in the marine codex to be hitting on 4s…🤔
There grenade launchers vs a blob of 20 infantry gets 6d6 + 24 attacks for an average of 45 attacks.
Blood Angels can also use a Librarian Dreadnought to teleport these dudes about as well.
And here comes the knee-jerk BanHammer!
As a Blood Angels player I find these guys to be awesome with the Librarian Dreadnought Teleport Ability…. Not only is the Dread pretty good in itself, you can continue to teleport infantry units throughout the game! Really powerful with the Gravis Captain included with Honour Vehement to make him a real beast in Melee.
Thisll be irrelevant as soon as the oaths nerf comes lol
I like this unit, I typically plant them in a Redeemer, I feel I get a ton more value from the Redeemer compared to the Captain. It’s a great combo, that considering all the hoops I have to go to to get it to work, then it folds to anti-elite or anti-light tank, or weapons with anti-infantry shooting I have found my opponents don’t mind it. It hits hard, some finesse is required to kill it, but once you know what works it does die.
I disagree with your enhancements choice for the Captain and Biologis combo. If you take both, the Biologis should get the Artificer Armor, and the Captain should get Bolter Discipline. In your example, your opponent will just kill off your Biologis, neutering the squads ability to punch up in shooting. With mine it’s a lot harder to kill the Biologis, the Captain is tough already, and even if either die, the squad can still punch up, though not as well.
Teleporting them with a Librarian Dreadnought is my favorite delivery mechanism
I couldnt possibly care less about this topic. But i guess ill watch it to support trevy
Who is now apparently a real person with feelings
Nice breakdown. You forgot Iron Father Ferros though and I think he can bring a lot to this unit both offensively and defensively.
Remember that you can only jump into dev doctrine if you are in a doctine "Instead of any other combat doctrine" so you switch doctrine not jum into another one if your are on a saving round
I really enjoy this unit combo. Glad Aggressors are a big presence. Also a big fan of the resurgence of Land Raiders.
Yuuuup currently getting two squads to go with Calgar and the biologis with Bolter discipline
Real question…..what was that model used for the demon prince in the Objective Cntrl ad haha. Amazing model!!!
The math Auspex did in his video losing oath wound rerolls is astounding. Like 60-100% less damage output on non twin linked units. Hope you do a vid on that.
Unfortunately Grav cap can’t make storm of fire free after the nerf since its not battle tactics
I’m trying this combo on a Lt for proteus kill team to see if its a vibe for Deathwatch
Hang on now has aggressors never really been a dedicated melee unit in practice
LAUGHS IN INDOMITOR KILLTEAM
Flamestorm aggs get twin linked and have torrent. So they’ll do pretty good in this new oaths meta
Plus a hailstrike is kinda nutty
Is this better than a Primaris Lieutenant with Bolter Discipline + Hellblastsers? I can run either and I've had very good results with the Hellblasters.
Why does Calgar get pistol on his power fist mounted bolters but the aggressors don’t?
I love all these comments trying to correct mistakes but they are just straight wrong 😂😂.
Awesome video Trevy. Don’t listen to all of these dummies.
How can you target the aggressor with the adaptive stratagem if they are in a land raider or in deep strike? Are you telling me that you want to play them on foot?
Everyone has been saying Oath is getting Nerfed, allowing players to only re-roll hits…has that changed?
They called me a madman when I started doing this about 3 months ago. And now it's everywhere cause someone saw this and thought this would be disgusting in Gladius
For reference I play space wolves champions Detachment and I just spam lethal hit into my list
What do you think of using them with Deathwatch and the SIA strats, either by themselves or in an Indomitus KT?
So does each model with boltstorm gauntlets get 3 shots or 6?
You just taught me that I can’t include iron father with the biologis. Damn.
I like these unit combo videos. I hope you do more of them!
Damn what happened to the mustache?!
i thought they were only good for their power fists
You can do the same with a dark angel terminator command squad with lieutenant
They have Deep strike, delete a unit on shooting and charge another unit with 8+ for maximum obliteration
