The Campulance is a 2002 Ford E450 Marque Commando 164 Class III ambulance powered by the Ford 7.3l Powerstroke turbo diesel engine and a 4 speed 4R100 transmission. Lefty is a 68lb American Staffordshire Terrier (best I can tell) that came from the Verona Street Animal Shelter (https://www.vsas.org/) in March 2014 at the age of 9 months. Have you considered using a clamp bracket similar to a chimney pipe mounting bracket inside to hold down the heater, so you would not have to go under the rig? Safe Travels

If it has felt pads in the fan motor, can you somehow get 3-in-1 oil to the felt pads and soak them immensely.
Hi David. Seeing you laying on your back looking up and working on the heater with no eye protection gave me the heebie-geebies. One speck in your eye could be inconvenient/catastrophic. (Not preaching)

Hi David and Lefty: I found that interesting about you and your daughters amps dexterousness. I also am right handed but bat right handed and golf left handed too. These things were not intentional and I didn't even realize I was doing it that way until it was pointed out to me. The clip at the end was precious. My Chinese Diesel Heater is a VEVOR Brand. Setting up the firmware was VERY difficult!! 3 months later, and I still don't have it completely figured out… PS: the Clock feature is useless !!!! It gains about an hour of time each day. The only good thing about mine is that it also comes with a remote, and Bluetooth feature. I just use the remote to turn it on and off as needed. I only run it on level 1 'cause it will get the Camper up to 90* in just minutes!!!

ELP, Lucky man. Alan Parsons Project, Eye in the Sky. I saw ELP i concert once, but it was Emerson, Lake and Powell as Palmer wasn't touring with them at that point. I have seen Alan Parson's in concert at least a half dozen times, the most recently a few year ago in Montreal. Bit fan of Alan Parsons, both his production work with Pink Floyd and Al Stewart, and his music with the various incarnations of the Project, and very topically, the soundtrack Ladyhawke, a movie that an eclipse played an important role in the film.

Hey guys hope you have a great trip !! Lefty is a top notch supervisor ! LOL Just like my boy Flash. I have said several times, " if he only had thumbs he'd be a great helper!!" . Really good idea to have a spare heater all the time. I think you can just replace that noisy rough bearing and your old heater would be good to go. It's my understanding those parts are readily availible. Great summer project when you get back to NY.
